Owns counterparty credit risk assessments, credit-limit recommendations, exposure monitoring, concentration limits, stress testing, and risk-policy procedures. The role analyzes financial statements and broker-dealer regulatory capital, including risk-adjusted capital, net excess capital, Form 1, and FOCUS filings. It partners with Treasury, Finance, Market Risk, Legal, Product, and Securities Lending teams to identify emerging risks and maintain exposures within approved thresholds.

Own card fraud strategy across application, transaction, and account takeover fraud. Manage fraud loss budgets, design and optimize detection rules, backtest models, set ML risk thresholds, and balance fraud prevention with client experience and operational costs. Partner with Product and Engineering to implement controls, guide data scientists and analytics developers, mentor junior teammates, and influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.

Own net-new SMB customer acquisition for Wealthsimple Business by building growth channels from scratch. Lead paid media, partnerships, content, community, webinars, positioning, and funnel experiments. Analyze CAC/LTV and downstream pipeline value, scale successful campaigns, collaborate with demand generation on nurture handoffs, and use AI to accelerate audience research, creative development, copy iteration, and experimentation.
