Lead Cohere's policy engagement on compute infrastructure, export controls, sovereign AI, and national AI competitiveness. Monitor and analyze relevant developments, develop policy positions, engage governments and cross-functional teams, represent Cohere in public discussions, and produce policy analysis and thought leadership to inform strategic business opportunities and public-private partnerships.

The role partners closely with product, engineering, legal, finance, sales, marketing, policy, and government relations teams to support sovereign AI deployments, regulatory compliance, revenue growth, and international expansion.

The role involves managing Cohere's platform for developers and enterprises, overseeing APIs, SDKs, and tooling for improved integration and user experience.

Build and ship native iOS and Android features for Cohere’s secure AI workspace platform. Collaborate with designers and researchers to implement interfaces, productionize AI models, research technologies, and develop privacy- and security-focused tooling, including custom solutions when standard libraries are unsuitable. The role requires experience with Kotlin and Swift, production mobile applications, project bootstrapping, cross-codebase debugging, and execution in fast-changing environments. Audio feature experience is a bonus.

Manage the full contract lifecycle and contract operations: triage requests, draft and maintain standard agreements and templates, manage document systems and approvals, monitor compliance and key dates, analyze contract data, and collaborate with Sales, Product, and Finance to streamline contract workflows and reporting.

Build and ship features for Cohere’s North AI workspace platform, develop autonomous agents that interact with sensitive enterprise data, and deploy highly performant, secure applications in low-resource environments. Collaborate with researchers to productionize advanced AI models and techniques while contributing across the full stack using Python and React.

Drive analytics and measurement for AI product adoption and impact. Build agentic analytics, small language models, predictive models, and customer-facing insights. Design and run experiments (A/B tests, causal inference), ship production models, and translate ambiguous business questions into actionable recommendations used by product, sales, and leadership.

Lead and mentor a GPU infrastructure engineering team to design, deploy, and scale GPU/TPU clusters. Define technical roadmap, implement topology-aware scheduling, monitoring, IaC, and cost/capacity optimization. Collaborate with AI researchers, cloud providers, and cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, secure, and performant infrastructure.

Build and maintain production-grade data processing systems and foundational infrastructure for enterprise AI. Collaborate with researchers and engineers, deliver end-to-end implementations, transform unstructured data into performant datasets, and use distributed processing frameworks and modern analytics tooling to inform products and strategy.
