Lead the character effects team for an animated feature, defining simulation approaches for hair, fur, cloth and more. Oversee asset and shot delivery, mentor CFX leads/artists, collaborate across departments, develop tools/workflows, solve technical challenges, and ensure artistic quality and production stability.

Create high-quality storyboards from script to final delivery for GenAI-native animated shorts and specials. Collaborate with creative leadership on staging, camera, pacing, and character acting; iterate quickly on feedback; develop and support hybrid traditional/GenAI workflows, templates, and scripts; drive visual experimentation and integration of generative imagery with 2D/3D renders while meeting sprint timelines.

Support technical vision for modeling, rigging, surfacing, and front-end production stages. Troubleshoot pipelines, develop and validate tools, manage estimates/schedules, mentor TDs, coordinate cross-department testing, and communicate technical plans and status to creatives and engineering.

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Rigging team, assist riggers and animation with QC, test and validate workflow tools and farm integration, create pipeline documentation, and promote repeatable, secure rigging workflows while escalating unresolved issues.

Lead the cinematic vision and visual storytelling for animated productions using GenAI-native and hybrid pipelines. Define camera language, staging, and movement; collaborate with directors, tech, and production to build workflows, templates, and training; manage and mentor the layout team while ensuring pipeline efficiency, budgets, and delivery timelines.

Support Houdini-based pipelines across assets and shot teams by developing production-ready HDAs, tools, and UIs, troubleshooting workflows, driving QA and technical direction, mentoring TDs, and coordinating with Solutions Engineering and R&D to enable high-quality animation production.

Support the performance pipeline for an animated feature: troubleshoot and optimize workflows, develop and validate tools, manage technical bids and schedules, provide hands-on leadership and mentoring to TDs, and coordinate cross‑departmental integration and communication with technical and production teams.
