Develops and maintains low-level C/C++ firmware for SSD products. Responsibilities include embedded architecture, storage interface development, unit and system testing, failure analysis, debugging, operating-system and device architecture, and collaboration with hardware and ASIC teams. The role translates product requirements into development and validation plans, coordinates engineering milestones, and participates in Agile/Kanban processes. Work involves SSD media-management concepts, NAND flash, and interfaces such as NVMe, PCIe, SATA, SAS, and ONFI.

Develop and verify SoC designs for SSD products, including digital logic, functional units, full-chip designs, synthesis, place and route, timing, power, and manufacturing-ready databases. Collaborate on microarchitecture, verification strategy, simulation, and customer-driven features. Use UVM, formal verification, and firmware co-simulation while managing risks, technical issues, project plans, and stakeholder communication. The role also investigates new tools and supports complex ASIC/SoC development and verification efforts.
