Job Description Summary

As the Corporate Sustainability Manager, you will lead STEMCELL’s environmental sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with global regulations. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate multi-departmental projects, and serve as a key partner to senior leadership to enhance the company’s environmental impact. If you are passionate about developing and implementing sustainability programs which integrate environment, social and governance goals (ESGs) into core business operations, this position may be for you!

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee environmental compliance strategies aligned with corporate goals

  • Provide guidance and mentorship on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, assigning priorities and ensuring efficient resource allocation across compliance and sustainability projects

  • Oversee tracking of global environmental regulations and governance requirements and communicate associated trends and risks

  • Ensure the company meets regulatory obligations, including documentation, reporting, and audit readiness

  • Review and serve as primary liaison for internal and public sustainability and compliance disclosures, ensuring alignment with global reporting standards and customer requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related field. Master’s preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, or ESG management

  • Strong knowledge of global environmental regulations and corporate ESG reporting standards and proven experience managing multi-departmental projects

  • Excellent communication, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable company-wide initiatives
     

Please note that this is a fixed term leave coverage for 12 months.

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$98,900.00 - $148,300.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
