About Jetson

Jetson is on a mission to accelerate the transition of 100 million homes across North America away from fossil fuels toward sustainable energy use. We believe in a future that is 100% electric and 100% better.

Homes are one of the largest sources of carbon emissions, yet adoption of solutions like heat pumps remains slow due to cost and complexity. Jetson is solving this by building the first fully vertically integrated home electrification company — making clean energy simple, transparent, and affordable.

We rely heavily on technology, automation, and data to scale this impact. At Jetson, we value people who are excellent at their craft, curious about new tools (including AI), and motivated to continuously improve how work gets done.

The Opportunity:
You keep Jetson's vendors paid accurately and on time. You process a high volume of invoices across two entities and two currencies (Jetson Home Inc. in Canada and Jetson Home Corporation in the US), resolve the exceptions automation can't, and keep vendor records clean. It's a hands-on role for someone who likes getting the details right and making the process run faster each month.

What You Will Do:

  • Process vendor invoices daily in Tipalti and NetSuite: code, match to purchase orders and item receipts, and post bills to the right entity, currency and period.
  • Work the exception queue: price and quantity mismatches, missing supplier codes, wrong-currency POs. Resolve with Procurement and Inventory, or escalate the same day.
  • Code and route non-PO invoices (services, rent, utilities, subscriptions, professional fees) for approval.
  • Attach invoice backup in NetSuite so every bill is audit-ready.
  • Prepare the weekly AP aging and draft payment proposal; send remittance advice after each run.
  • Record vendor credits and prepayments and apply them to open bills.
  • Reconcile vendor statements monthly and follow up on discrepancies and past-due items.
  • Set up and maintain vendor records, including W-9 / W-8 and tax details, following vendor change controls.
  • Answer vendor and internal questions in the AP inbox promptly and professionally.
  • Support month-end: invoice cut-off, uninvoiced-receipt follow-up, and prepaid and accrual schedules.
  • Flag repeat match failures and process gaps, and help test fixes with Business Systems.

What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
  • NetSuite experience strongly preferred; Tipalti, Float or another AP automation tool is a plus.
  • Understanding of three-way match, accruals and basic journal entries.
  • Familiarity with GST/PST on Canadian invoices; US vendor and sales tax exposure is an asset.
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Accuracy under volume, and the judgment to know when to escalate.
  • Progress toward a CPA, or an accounting diploma or degree, is an asset.
  • Able to work primarily in office at our North Vancouver location.
