The Role

As an SEO Specialist at North SEO, you will be responsible for managing and executing SEO strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients. You will dive deep into analytics, run comprehensive technical audits, craft content strategies, and build authority to drive organic traffic and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

• Keyword & Competitor Research: Identify high-value search terms and map out content gaps to guide client strategies.
• On-Page Optimization: Optimize title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and on-page content for maximum relevance and search visibility.
• Technical SEO: Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve crawlability issues, site speed bottlenecks, and indexation errors.
• Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content briefs and ensure all published materials align with search intent.
• Link Building & Off-Page: Execute outreach campaigns to acquire high-quality, authoritative backlinks.
• Performance Reporting: Monitor client performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and third-party tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, etc.) to deliver actionable insights and monthly reports.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in Search Engine Optimization (agency experience is a plus).
• Proven track record of successfully improving organic search rankings and driving traffic.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and Moz.
• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console.
• Solid technical foundation with a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and how JavaScript impacts SEO.
• Excellent communication skills, both for reporting data to clients and collaborating with internal teams.
