What is the opportunity?
A Tableau Developer specializes in utilizing Tableau, a leading data visualization software, to transform raw data into meaningful insights through interactive and shareable dashboards. These professionals possess a blend of analytical skills, an understanding of data structures, and a flair for design to communicate complex information in an accessible way. Their expertise lies in connecting data sources, crafting visual analytics, and optimizing the user experience to empower decision-makers with data-driven guidance. As architects of visual storytelling, Tableau Developers play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of informed decision-making within organizations, making them highly sought after in a data-centric business landscape.
Python developers design, code, and deploy development projects in the Python language. They also work on debugging those same projects to ensure they function as intended.
What will you do?

Design and maintenance of services in Tableau Desktop in designing and building interactive visual reports with advanced functions to provide insightful analysis. Designing and development of creative dashboards in Tableau Desktop and publish in Tableau cloud.

Develop and maintain technical documentation. Writing SQL queries for data validation and verification. Proficient in LOD calculations, quick table calculations, use of parameters and filters.

Experience in working on Data Analytics (Advance Excel & Tableau) to help visualize data and share discoveries and collaborate in intuitive new ways.

Good Knowledge on using the relevant visualizations and interactions on the Dashboard views such that.

Data maintenance and intensive data analysis to generate KPI Reports. Performing data analysis to identify data inaccuracies and initiates procedures to correct and prevent future occurrences. Provide guidance and expertise for Tableau solutions.

Responsible for the end-to-end technical solution as defined by the solution architecture and resolving design ambiguity. Provide technical leadership, expert counsel and guidance to the development team, adhering to solution architecture and best practices.

Leads complex group meetings (including business partners) for technical design, decision making, problem solving, implementation and strategic planning.

Provides direction, expertise, feedback, coaching and development to build the capability of junior technical development staff.

Conduct analysis in form of written and/or diagram to provide feedback. Create, design, analyze, develop and debug. Various tasks such as updating table entries, create program variants. Develop interface to transfer data between two systems.

Support the integration projects through various phases from gathering business requirements to go-live and post-implementation support. Analyze business requirements and provide guidance and clarity.

Support the assessment of change requests (corrections, enhancements), proposing and developing solutions. Support the team during requirements and testing.

Perform unit testing for the developed objects, prepare technical design document of the development and prepare PRP document and provide walkthrough.

Implement the changes using Service Now Ticketing process, create implementation plan and preparations for Go-Live, develop accurate estimates for completion of technical tasks and manage risks, assumptions and constraints and communicate to appropriate parties.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
-
Undergraduate Computer Science or Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.

Proven experience in leading development team on large projects or programs interfacing with multiple applications and/or third parties. Proven experience as Tableau developer (Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server). Proven experience in Oracle and MS-SQL query writing.

Python knowledge, Pandas, NumPy, Apache Airflow, and AWS. Experience in front end and backend development.

Knowledge of creating various dashboard based on business needs.

Proven experience with agile delivery methodology and governance. Ability to successfully multi-task

Develop and update ETL pipelines to support the dashboards and alarm data flow.

Experience with Source Code Management system such as GIT and experience with DevOps such and Jenkins.
Nice to Have

JCL knowledge/experience & willing to learn.

Knowledge on Airflow and OCP (Open Shift platform)

Work in both Windows and Linux (Redhat) environments.

Basic knowledge API / Web services

VISIO – creating flows and diagrams experience.
