Your Impact

As a Senior Recruiter reporting to the Head of People, you will help Jobscan create an inclusive and high performing environment by recruiting and onboarding new employees who align with our values.

 

Within your first 30 days, you will meet all the hiring managers and understand their recruitment needs, write job postings, build up a pipeline of candidates for open positions, and talk to a lot of candidates. You will also most likely be bombarded with endless Slack emojis as that's usually how our team shows affection towards new people.

The Challenges

We’re a fully bootstrapped small company that is growing very quickly. There will be growing pains. It can be a bit chaotic at times with competing priorities and that backlog just keeps expanding, but it’s an evolving company culture and you can help shape it. Until then, you have to be very comfortable with lack of structure, understand that you won’t have time to do everything, and know how to prioritize tasks on your own. Don’t be surprised if priorities change often.

You won’t be going at it alone! You’ll be working alongside another Senior Recruiter, sharing the workload, collaborating, and bouncing ideas off each other. And then there’s Joanna—your future manager.

 

Joanna’s career started in technical recruitment, and since then, she’s been recognized as one of the top recruiters to follow. She’s known for pushing boundaries, challenging conventional thinking, and innovating in ways that keep the team ahead of the curve.

Expectations are high, and you will be challenged to rethink everything you know about recruitment and talent acquisition. The salary range for this position is expected to be between $100,000 - $120,000.
