Design, develop, and maintain secure backend APIs and integrations for a digital banking ecosystem. Coordinate with vendors (Fiserv, VeriPark) and internal teams to implement VeriLink integrations, support integration/SIT/regression testing, decommission legacy platforms, and collaborate in Agile teams on microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET/Integration Developer to build the connective tissue of a new digital banking ecosystem for a major Credit Union. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who thrives in cross-functional teams and has strong experience developing backend APIs, orchestrating data routing between digital platforms (VeriPark), core banking systems (Fiserv), and third-party endpoints.
What You'll Do- Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance REST API and service integrations across the VeriLink integration layer.
- Coordinate directly with vendors (Fiserv, VeriPark) and internal teams to execute complex core banking integrations.
- Support extensive integration testing activities, including System Integration Testing (SIT), regression, and end-to-end validation.
- Assist in the deconversion and retirement of legacy platforms (Forge 2.0), ensuring clean data archiving and member continuity.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and developers in Agile delivery teams.
- 5+ years of recent experience in senior software development roles.
- Strong backend development experience with .NET, C#, and enterprise application integration.
- Extensive hands-on experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with OpenAPI standards.
- Experience with Microservices architecture and continuous integration pipelines.
- Strong database experience and knowledge of data mapping/reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Fiserv core banking platforms or VeriPark solutions.
- Experience in the financial services sector and handling legacy system deconversions.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
