Lead Jane's business systems strategy: consolidate tool inventory, lead procurement, set configuration standards, design integrations and pipelines, partner with execs and Analytics to ensure reliable data flows and scalable, AI-enabled system solutions.
The summary above was generated by AI

Hi, I'm Aurobind, Head of Business Systems, IT and Data at Jane. I'm hiring a Senior Manager of Business Systems to own the configuration, integration, and stewardship of the systems and tools Jane runs on, and to make sure those choices serve a coherent, well-instrumented data architecture rather than working against it.

Today, Jane's tools are mostly configured by functional admins doing their best within their own domains. That gets us partway, but it also means we don't have a central view of what we're buying, how the tools fit together, where they overlap, or how a configuration decision in one system silently breaks something three steps downstream. As Jane scales, and as data, automation, and AI become more central to how we operate, we need a leader who can bring rigor, requirements, and a systems-thinking lens to the full Business Systems landscape.

You'll partner with functional leaders across Jane to make smart tool selection calls, set the standards for how systems get configured, and own the integration and pipeline layer that connects them. Done well, this work makes every team at Jane faster and unlocks the data architecture we need to operate as an AI-forward company.

What Impact We're Looking for You to Make
  • Build a consolidated view of Jane's tools landscape — own the picture of what we're using, where, how it's configured, what it costs, and how the pieces fit together (including future roadmap). Identify overlaps, gaps, and consolidation opportunities.

  • Lead tool selection and procurement — partner with functional leaders to evaluate, select, and procure new business systems. Bring a rigorous requirements lens, an eye for total cost of ownership, and a clear point of view on integration and data implications.

  • Partner across the executive layer — work with leaders in Revenue, Customer, People, Finance, and Marketing to understand their workflows, surface trade-offs, and make sure the systems serving them are coherent with Jane's broader architecture.

  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to business leaders — partner with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenge assumptions, define future-state processes, and translate business needs into scalable systems, data, and AI-enabled solutions.

  • Own configuration and administration of business systems — establish standards for how tools get configured, who can change them, and how changes are reviewed. Move us from informal admin work to a disciplined, requirements-driven practice.

  • Build the integration and middleware layer — design and operate the connective tissue between systems - starting with key GTM systems (iPaaS, APIs, event streams) - so data flows reliably and intentionally between the tools that capture it and the systems that consume it.

  • Own data ingestion & pipeline infrastructure — partner closely with the Analytics team to ensure data flows are set up, on time, and working consistently in both directions - source-system data lands in the warehouse cleanly, and relevant internal apps data is flowing back to tools as needed as well

What Experience We Need
  • 8+ years of professional experience in business systems, enterprise applications, or a comparable function, including 4+ years leading teams.

  • Demonstrated track record owning a business systems function at scale in a SaaS or similarly complex software company — ideally one that grew through 500–1,500 employees.

  • Hands-on experience driving business requirements and solution design — proven ability to partner with business stakeholders to understand complex business problems, define future-state processes, gather and challenge requirements, and design scalable technology solutions that balance business needs, user experience, and technical architecture.

  • Direct experience implementing a major CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce) — you've led or been deeply hands-on in a CRM implementation, including configuration, integration with adjacent systems, and the data architecture decisions that come with it.

  • Strong technical foundation across modern SaaS tooling — CRM, finance and HR systems, support and ticketing, identity and access, and the iPaaS / integration patterns that connect them.

  • Experience designing and operating an integration architecture — you've made the calls on iPaaS vs. point-to-point vs. event-driven patterns and can articulate the trade-offs.

  • Experience partnering with Data & Analytics teams on ingestion and pipeline infrastructure — you understand what BI and data engineering need from source systems and have built source-of-truth practices that hold up.

  • Strong vendor selection and procurement instincts — you can run a rigorous evaluation, negotiate well, and avoid the traps of shiny-object tooling.

  • A consultative, requirements-first orientation — you push back productively when stakeholders ask for tools or configurations without clearly defined needs, and you make better decisions.

  • Excellent influence and stakeholder management skills — you can align cross-functional executives on shared standards and trade-offs that may not be locally optimal.

  • Demonstrated ability to standardize and operationalize — you've taken a function operating on tribal knowledge and turned it into a disciplined, documented practice.

More About Jane

Jane is a founder-led, high-growth SaaS company with a remote-first team working across Canada, the US, and the UK, united by our mission to help the helpers. This role is remote first. We are not hybrid.

We build the products and tools that thousands of clinics rely on every day to run their businesses, care for their patients, and grow their communities. That level of impact means every person at Jane plays an important role in how we show up for our customers. We’re all responsible for being deeply connected to their needs, obsessed with improving their experience, and proud of the difference our work makes in their day-to-day lives.

Jane is growing fast, and that growth brings exciting challenges that call for adaptability, resilience, learning agility, and humility. We’re proud of what we’ve built and quick to admit what we don’t know yet. We listen, learn, and adjust as we go.

We’re also deep into building with AI, using it to work smarter, improve our systems, and create even better experiences for our customers and our team.

Our goal isn’t just delivery, it’s delight. We move quickly, communicate openly, and solve real problems together. If you’re energized by ambiguity, motivated by impact, and eager to learn with others, you’ll thrive at Jane.

Compensation & Benefits

At Jane, we're committed to paying fairly, clearly, and above all, paying for growth. We're open to candidates in Canada or the US for this role, and pay according to the band for wherever you're based: CAD $148,000 to $240,500 in Canada, or USD $156,000 to $253,500 in the US. These are large ranges by design - they reflect the full growth journey someone might take in the role, from developing skills early on to achieving excellence.

Most new hires join at the accomplished stage - CAD $175,800 or USD $185,300 depending on location. A starting salary below this typically reflects strong potential still developing key skills; salaries above it usually apply to existing team members with significant impact and deep Jane-specific knowledge. We believe in paying for growth - you'll have regular career development conversations with your manager, and your compensation will grow as you gain experience and contribute meaningfully to our mission.

This role also includes equity through our JSOP (Jane Stock Option Plan). Our stock has grown 11x over the past six years, with three opportunities to exercise options along the way. Jane was valued at $1.8B in May 2025, and with the backing of TCV, we have ambitious plans ahead.
