Job Summary

The SAP ABAP Programmer is responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA systems to ensure stable and efficient business operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining system performance, improving user experience, and supporting integrated applications across the enterprise. The analyst will work closely with business users and IT teams to resolve issues, enhance functionality, and drive continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and functional support for SAP S/4HANA applications, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Support end-users with system functionality and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Manage and prioritize support tickets to meet service level expectations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Perform master data maintenance and resolve data integrity issues.
  • Support integrations between SAP S/4HANA and external systems (e.g., Intuiflow, PLM, legacy systems) using APIs and SQL.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes for recurring issues.
  • Maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on system functionality and improvements.
  • Manage user access, roles, and security.
  • Partner with global IT teams (Taiwan and U.S.) to support UAT, change management, and system enhancements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of SAP experience, including hands-on support of SAP S/4HANA environments.
  • Experience with SAP implementations, upgrades, or migrations.
  • Strong ABAP knowledge and solid troubleshooting skills (debugging, transports, performance tuning).
  • Functional experience in at least one SAP module (e.g., PP, SD, FICO).
  • Familiarity with SAP development objects (tables, BAPIs, user exits) and integration technologies (IDocs, APIs, middleware).
  • Good understanding of business processes supported by SAP.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and business users.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • SAP S/4HANA certification is an asset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP HANA database performance and optimization.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, including multi-level BOMs.
  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

Work Location: Required on-site for the first 6 months, then hybrid (In-office 3 days per week, subject to change)

Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: 75,000 - 95,000 CAD
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
