Sales Development Representative – Montreal 

As a Sales Development Representative at Convera working in our Montreal office, you will support our Business-to-Business sales team in winning new clients within the International Payments / Foreign Exchange / FX space. 

You will be responsible for: 

  • Performing market analysis, attending on and offline events, and supporting sales campaigns.
  • Influencing clients from the owner of a start-up to the finance director or chief executive officer of a large, established corporation.
  • Using consultative selling techniques to understand the challenges that our prospects face when trading overseas, providing bespoke solutions, and progress towards securing sustainable, profitable trading relationships.
  • Assisting throughout the sales-cycle.
  • Be the primary point of contact for the new customers acquired.
  • Collaborating with colleagues from different departments within Convera.

You should apply if you have/are: 

  • The ability and desire to grow into a professional sales role. 
  • One year of experience in sales lead generation would be strongly preferred (cold calling, networking events, trade fairs, cold calling, etc,).
  • Finance related studies/qualifications or equivalent skills would be an advantage.  
  • Ability to work individually, and to collaborate with others in a fast-paced, team environment, making quick decisions, and managing timelines.
  • Previous experience working towards key performance indicators and individual targets to achieve weekly, quarterly, and annual goals would be an advantage.
  • Motivated, and proactive, bringing the enthusiasm and interest for the requirements of a successful international company.
  • Must have fluent English and French language skills
