The Product Manager (PM) contributes to STEMCELL’s goal of helping scientists advance science by advocating for customer needs and providing market-driven insights at all stages of the product life cycle. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, you'll be responsible for managing the commercialization, promotion, and maintenance of product(s) within your respective portfolio. As a PM, you'll combine data-driven approaches and industry best practices with creative thinking and business/market expertise to propose and implement effective product management strategies.
We are currently seeking a Product Manager for our Neuroscience portfolio, on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a great opportunity to grow your career away from the bench in a fast-paced position with high visibility of both customers and external partners around the world!

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execution of tasks to launch products and maintain product continuity

  • Create full-cycle commercialization plans for STEMCELL products to achieve target revenue goals using effective forecasting tools 

  • Act as a product champion to influence various departments (e.g. Research and Development, Business Operations, Sales, Planning, and Marketing) in aligning their goals with the overall vision for commercialization

  • Stay informed with both competitors and current trends in key end-user research circles to craft new product proposals in conjunction with product teams, effectively responding to evolving customer needs 

  • Facilitate alignment of marketing, sales, and corporate goals to execute successful marketing campaigns, sales strategies, and support tools (e.g. training courses on our products)

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • MSc or PhD in life sciences with 5+ years experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills, with proven experience building strong relationships with stakeholders and key opinion leaders

  • Experience in project management and project planning, including coordinating multiple projects with varying deadlines, and adjusting flexibly to rapidly changing priorities

  • Demonstrated business, analytical, and financial acumen required; relevant marketing or product management experience is preferred

  • Understanding of product positioning and value proposition to suit the market is preferred

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

$98,900.00 - $148,300.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
