Job Description

As an Operations Manager, are are accountable for the overall management and coordination of daily operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of services. This role supports FLINT’s success by driving operational excellence, fostering strong client and vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, and legislative standards. 

What would you be doing? 

  • Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee daily operations (shop and field) to meet production, quality, cost, and schedule targets.
  • Convert business priorities into actionable plans while driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost control.
  • Manage relationships with clients, vendors, and contractors, including negotiations and issue resolution.
  • Lead workforce activities, including scheduling, supervision, training, performance management, and HR collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Brings 10+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, construction, or shutdown operations, with a proven ability to manage operations safely and efficiently.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills while fostering a safe, collaborative, and respectful work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Strong planning, organizing, decision-making, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Holds relevant education (trade certification or degree) with project management training (PMP) and journeyman certification as assets.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety-sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.  

Target Salary: $75.00 per hour
