We believe in keeping our customers front and center in everything we do; in fact, focus on serving our customers is one of our core values. ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a creative, strategically focused Marketing & Conversion Copywriter to join our Content Team. This role will craft compelling copy across our digital channels — website pages, email campaigns, blogs — that drives engagement and conversions, while collaborating closely with marketers, designers, and content strategists.

Salary Range: $55,000 - $62,500 CAD annually, based on experience and qualifications.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Write website copy for new and existing pages, ensuring clarity, brand alignment, and conversion optimization (e.g., call-to-action messaging, landing pages).
    • Produce SEO-focused blog posts: integrate search keywords, EEAT principles, semantic SEO, and conversion best practices into copy.
    • Craft email campaigns that convert—ranging from promotional blasts to nurture series.
    • Support content strategy development, contributing ideas aligned with marketing goals and nurturing the brand voice.
    • Collaborate across teams—designers, email, SEO, and marketing—to ensure copy and visuals are cohesive.
    • Edit, proof, and ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and brand voice across all deliverables.
    • Monitor performance, iterating copy elements like subject lines, headlines, and CTAs based on A/B testing and analytics.
    • Stay updated with travel industry trends, digital marketing practices, and competitive messaging.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 3+ years of professional experience in marketing or conversion copywriting, preferably within travel or hospitality.
    • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse digital formats: websites, blogs, emails, landing pages.
    • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with mastery of brand voice.
    • Understanding of SEO principles and conversion rate optimization techniques.
    • Proficiency in using content management systems.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Creative storytelling ability with a strategic mindset.

    Nice-to-Have:

    • Experience with A/B testing and analyzing campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics or email platform metrics.
    • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or content formatting.
    • Travel industry familiarity or passion for adventure storytelling.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.

    REWARDS

You may be eligible to receive the following benefits, based on your contract type:

    • 3 weeks vacation (4 weeks after your first year)
    • Extended health benefits package
    • Applauz Recognition
    • Comprehensive employee assistance program
    • Paid anniversary day off
    • “Pawternity leave” days for your new furry family members
    • Great working hours
    • Friendly and fun team environment with company celebrations and social events
    • Access to Canadian travel industry discounts!
    • DE&I initiatives and events
    • Community (volunteer) Hours
    • Social Clubs including Book Club & Fitness Club

    DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION

We are an equal opportunity workplace. We strongly encourage applications from under-represented communities, diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences.  We don’t judge based on race, religion, ethnic background, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability, gender identity or anything else that you might bring to the table.
