About Us

At Davidson, storytelling, creativity, and clear communication matter.

We are a growing, entrepreneurial, and people-first accounting firm with offices in Vancouver and Calgary. We’re focused on bringing our refreshed brand to life in everything we say and do, from client work to how we show up in the market.

Our communications team brings the brand to life across client work, internal updates, events, and the way we show up in the market.

About the Role

As our Marketing & Brand Coordinator, you will create and coordinate content across our website, social channels, proposals, client communications, internal updates, events, and branded materials.

You will report to the Director, Marketing + Brand and work closely with our Co-op Student and teams across the Firm. About 60% of the role is content and copywriting, with the rest focused on coordination, proposals, events, promotional items, and day-to-day marketing support.

About You

You love to write, and you are just as happy shaping a proposal as you are drafting a social post or tightening up a web page. You care about getting the message right, and you notice the details other people miss. You are organized, curious, and ready to own your work. You like variety, take feedback well, ask thoughtful questions, and follow through.

What you’ll do

Content and copywriting

  • Write, edit, and proofread content for website, blog, social media, email, newsletters, proposals, presentations, and print materials
  • Adapt messages for clients, prospects, employees, students, and other audiences
  • Make technical topics clear, engaging, and consistent with Davidson's brand voice

Social and digital

  • Create and schedule content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels
  • Maintain the content calendar, including creating captions, post copy, and creative briefs
  • Track engagement and help report on what is working

Website and blog

  • Update and maintain website content using WordPress or a similar platform
  • Coordinate blog posts, tagging, publishing, and basic SEO best practices
  • Keep service, industry, and team pages accurate and current

Proposals and business development

  • Draft, edit, and format proposal content
  • Maintain proposal templates, team bios, credentials, and content libraries
  • Refresh brochures, presentations, and business development materials so they stay on brand

Brand, events, and promotional items

  • Apply Davidson's brand standards across marketing materials
  • Coordinate branded merchandise, inventory, vendors, timelines, and quality checks
  • Support conferences, sponsorships, recruiting events, client events, and internal activities
  • Manage event logistics, including registrations, signage, materials, setup, and follow-up.

Internal communications and team support

  • Draft internal announcements, employee updates, and Firm communications
  • Support communications for Firm initiatives, events, and programs
  • Collaborate with People + Culture on recruitment, engagement, events, and special projects
