Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As a Manager, Multi-Horizon Planning you will play a critical role in leading end to end planning, ensuring alignment between short, medium, and long term plans across demand, supply, inventory, and financial goals. You sit at the intersection of strategy and executing, ensuring day to day decisions ladder up to longer term business objectives. You can zoom out, see the big picture, but also balance immediate operational needs and competing priorities with future growth and risk mitigation. This role translates enterprise strategy into actionable plans, drives Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and leads cross-functional coordination to deliver against operational and strategic goals, enabling effective decision making across the organization.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:

The strategy team is dedicated to shaping the long-term direction of the organization—bringing clarity to priorities, aligning teams around shared goals, and driving sustained performance across the supply chain. Working across categories and brands, this team partners closely with sourcing, supply planning, allocation, and supply chain excellence to ensure decisions are informed, connected, and future-focused. From coordinating strategic initiatives and refining processes to translating complex data into actionable insights, the team plays a critical role in enabling smart, enterprise-level decisions.

If you were in the Manager, Multi-Horizon Planning role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Leading multi horizon planning activities with internal and external stakeholders – creating and adjusting robust plans that are aligned with sourcing strategy and address key planning scenarios
  • Facilitating alignment on priorities, risks and trade-offs while balancing competing priorities between key stakeholders
  • Partnering closely with key stakeholders to drive integrated planning outcomes
  • Providing subject matter expert guidance and challenging assumptions to improve decision quality
  • Developing and presenting scenarios that inform executive decision-making and trade-offs
  • Consolidating inputs across functions into a single aligned plan
  • Providing consolidated demand and supply outlook across all time horizons to support inputs for integrated business planning
  • Leading development of robust scenario models to assess risks and flag opportunities (e.g., demand shifts, supply constraints, inventory risk)
  • Ensuring integrated business planning decisions translate into operational plans in the short term and supports longer term strategic planning
  • Owning and evolving planning processes, tools, and governance frameworks
  • Building planning capability across the team, fostering analytical thinking and business acumen
  • Driving adoption of best practices across planning teams

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Owning end to end integrated business planning maturity and transformation
  • Shaping long term strategic bets as we continue to innovate and scale
  • Determining planning horizons and frameworks as well as decision rights and governance

Are you our next Manager, Multi-Horizon Planning?

  •  You have a minimum of 5-8 years experience in retail planning, demand planning, integrated business planning, or relevant related supply chain role
  • You have working experience in an integrated business planning or S&OP environment
  • You have strong understanding of end-to-end retail planning across multiple time horizons
  • You are highly strategic, with strong business acumen driving business growth through identifying strategic opportunities and identifying risk
  • You have working experience using o9 solutions, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, or Oracle or advanced planning software
  • You have strong communication and business presentation skills, ability to effectively communicate and influence all levels of stakeholders
  • You have a background in statistical forecasting, paired with a robust data analysis skillset and strong proficiency in data manipulation and Excel
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
