We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time HR Operations Generalist to join our People team in Langley, BC.  
 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Operations, you will provide centralized, efficient, and accurate HR operational support across our retail banners and provinces. In this role, you will ensure the consistent application of HR policies, support Service Centre functions, and maintain high-quality team member administration while supporting employee and labour relations initiatives across the organization.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Regional HR Managers with day-to-day employee and labour relations matters, including investigations, discipline, conflict resolution, collective agreement administration, performance management, and training.

  • Responding to HR inquiries from stores and providing guidance on policies, procedures, and systems while ensuring high-quality service delivery.

  • Preparing routine HR reports, tracking key HR metrics, and identifying trends requiring action.

  • Supporting process documentation updates and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Serving as a key liaison for union representatives and internal stakeholders by responding to day-to-day inquiries, gathering information, and facilitating issue resolution.

  • Managing assigned HR programs and processes related to team member mobility, internal job opportunities, and employment verification requests.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery, including Payroll, Benefits, Claims and Accommodations, Health & Safety, Resource Protection, IT, Retail Services, and Retail Leadership teams.

You have:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an HR capacity, with functional experience in labour and employee relations and workplace investigations.

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field.

  • Experience using HRIS platforms (preferably Workday) and Service Now.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.

  • A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation, or active pursuit of the designation certification, is considered an asset.

Compensation Details:

$67,618.00 - $84,522.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
