We are seeking a Product Manager with experience in either cybersecurity or AI to focus on refining product strategies based on market demands, customer insights, and collaboration with internal teams to continuously enhance our product offerings.

Job Description: As a Product Manager at WitnessAI, your primary role will be to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of cybersecurity or AI products with a strong focus on internal collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and customer feedback. You will gather and analyze market data, customer insights, and competitive trends to inform product development. This role emphasizes understanding the technical aspects of cybersecurity or AI and translating customer needs into actionable requirements for the engineering and design teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Insights & Feedback: Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback, usage data, and pain points to inform product improvements and identify areas for growth.

  • Product Roadmap Development: Collaborate closely with the engineering, design, and customer success teams to define the product roadmap based on inbound feedback, technical feasibility, and business priorities.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics and user data to track product performance, identify trends, and make informed decisions about feature development and optimization.

  • Internal Collaboration: Act as the main liaison between engineering, UX/UI design, and product marketing teams to ensure product features are developed and implemented effectively.

  • Feature Definition: Translate customer insights and market research into detailed product specifications, use cases, and user stories that clearly define the product vision and goals.

  • Competitive Analysis: Perform regular competitive analysis to understand market trends, gaps, and opportunities, and ensure our products maintain a competitive edge.

  • Prioritize Backlog: Work with the engineering team to prioritize the product backlog based on business impact, customer demand, and technical feasibility.

  • Usability & Testing: Oversee product testing, usability studies, and quality assurance to ensure product features meet user needs and provide a seamless experience.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Present product progress, roadmap updates, and results to internal stakeholders, keeping leadership informed of key developments and milestones.

  • Compliance & Security Standards (for Cybersecurity-focused roles): Ensure products adhere to industry cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR) through close collaboration with compliance teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on inbound product management, customer feedback loops, and internal product development.

  • Proven track record of managing and optimizing cybersecurity or AI-based products based on customer and market insights.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, protocols, or AI technologies, such as machine learning, data analysis, and automation.

  • Ability to translate technical concepts and customer feedback into clear product specifications and development tasks.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to bring products from concept to completion.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret user data, market trends, and competitive analysis to guide product decisions.

  • Familiarity with agile development practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, or similar).

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and updates to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance standards (SOC 2, GDPR) or experience with AI tools and platforms is a plus.

  • Familiarity with analytics tools to track product usage and performance metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).

Salary Range:

$180,000-$250,000
