What you’ll be doing

As a Data Consultant, Enterprise Business Analytics Enablement, you will play a key role in enhancing and managing the Operational Capability Reporting data warehouse environment. You will identify and analyze data consumption requirements, design and implement business analytics enablement solutions, and deliver actionable insights using analytics tools such as SAS, Databricks, SQL/Oracle, and cloud technologies.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

How you’ll succeed

• Data Warehouse Management: Enhance and maintain the Operational Capability Reporting data warehouse to support evolving business needs.
• Requirements Analysis: Identify, gather, and analyze data consumption requirements from business stakeholders.
• Solution Design & Delivery: Design, implement, and deliver business analytics enablement solutions using SAS, Databricks, SQL/Oracle, and cloud platforms.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business and technology partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data solutions.
• Integration & Transformation: Manage complex data transformation and integration processes to enable robust analytical capabilities.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Provide expert guidance to business teams, helping them translate business requirements into data and analytics solutions. Facilitate discussions to ensure business and project needs are met.

Who you are

• You are an experienced Data Professional: Demonstrated experience in building data products, enabling enterprise business analytics, and integrating data from multiple sources. Experience building data products and enabling enterprise business analytics solutions. Data integration and transformation expertise. Strong knowledge of SAS, Oracle/SQL, and cloud technology fundamentals. Ability to analyze business applications and translate requirements into data solutions. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Databricks, Azure, Python. Business Analytics (BA) background.
• You are an analytical thinker. Strong ability to analyze business applications and requirements through a data and analytics lens. Technical Skills: Proficient in SAS, Oracle/SQL, and cloud technologies.
