QUALIFICATIONS NECESSARY TO DO THE JOB:
- Immediate, open temporary position (one year requirement)
- $60,000 - $80,000
- Grade 12 education or equivalent required
- Completion of diploma in Material Management, Supply Chain/Logistics or related field an asset
- Previous experience in a customer service/administrative role preferred
- Previous experience with Mapics (or similar system) and Microsoft Excel required
- Previous experience with Chrysler CMS or SMART system an asset
- Previous experience with DDL and Future III and AS 400 an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly telephone manner and effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Problem solving skills to deal with issues as they arise
MAIN DUTIES:
- Maintains accurate paperwork, reports and information regarding shipment of customer requirements
- Creates and maintains trucking schedule. Follows up on schedule when required
- Communicate all relevant product information; customer requirements, shipment status, shortages, customer risk
- Responds immediately to any issues that arise with critical parts
- Oversees internal and external customer requests. Follows up on completion of all requests
- Maintains customer service delivery standards to ensure target of 100% Delivery Performance is met
- Monitors and maintains customer-based programs
- Investigates inventory issues as required
- Participates in team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as required
