Through its institutional-grade platform, Hiive brings together buyers, sellers, and issuers to facilitate secondary transactions in venture-backed, pre-IPO companies, introducing efficiency, transparency, and standardization to an otherwise opaque asset class.

As Associate Director, GTM Systems at Hiive, you will own the architectural backbone of Hiive's revenue operations — Salesforce and the constellation of integrated systems that power our marketplace, our institutional and wealth motions, our deal lifecycle, and everything in between. This is the senior technical voice on our Revenue Operations team, accountable for the design decisions that determine whether our systems can scale with the business or constrain it. You will lead a small team of Salesforce specialists, partner with our pod leads to translate business needs into durable system design, and act as the architectural authority for every meaningful change to our GTM technology stack. If you've spent your career bringing rigor to environments that grew faster than their systems and you want to apply that craft to one of the most operationally complex marketplaces in private capital, we want to build with you.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

  • Architectural authority: Own the target-state architecture of Salesforce and its integrated systems. Act as the final design reviewer for significant changes — object model evolution, automation patterns, integration approaches, security model — ensuring everything we build can carry the weight of the business as it scales.

  • Salesforce platform ownership: Own the Salesforce instance end-to-end. This includes the data model, declarative and programmatic automation (Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components), permission and sharing architecture, release management, sandbox and CI/CD discipline, and the long-term technical debt agenda.

  • Integration architecture: Own the data and integration patterns that connect Salesforce to our adjacent systems including third party systems like outreach tools, as well as our our internal platform, and new AI-enabled microapplications. Define the patterns, govern the API contracts, and decide what should be native to Salesforce vs. what should live elsewhere.

  • Team leadership: Lead a small team of Salesforce specialists, setting technical standards, running code and design review, and mentoring the team on architectural craft.

  • Cross-pod partnership: Partner closely with our Revenue Operations pod leads, translating their business priorities into platform changes that work across verticals rather than fragmenting the system.

  • Compliance and security architecture: Partner with Compliance, Legal, and InfoSec to ensure Salesforce and integrated systems meet our regulatory obligations as a FINRA-registered broker-dealer, including data integrity, access governance, audit trail, and SOC 2 controls.

  • AI-enabled platform evolution: Partner our engineers on the design of agent-first workflows, MCP server architecture, and the integration of LLM-based automation into our GTM systems. You will be the architectural voice on what should be built into Salesforce vs. orchestrated externally.

Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Salesforce architecture, revenue systems, or related enterprise platform roles, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.

  • Salesforce architectural depth: Hands-on experience designing and implementing complex Salesforce architectures end-to-end.Demonstrated ability to translate high-level enterprise architecture into practical, detailed technical designs.

  • Integration craft: Demonstrated experience designing and implementing integrations between Salesforce and adjacent business systems.

  • Technical leadership: Track record of leading small technical teams, setting standards, running code review, and mentoring developers and admins on architectural patterns.

  • AI-native mindset: You are already using AI tools to accelerate your own architectural and development work, and you have a point of view on how LLMs and agents should be integrated into a modern Salesforce environment.

  • Systems thinking: You think in terms of interdependent systems, you see how a small data model decision compounds over years, and you have the judgment to know when to take the architecturally pure path and when to ship the pragmatic one.

  • Bias for action: You move fast, you ship, and you take real ownership from initial design through long-term maintenance. You see opportunity wherever you look.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience within fintech, financial services, or another regulated environment, ideally with exposure to broker-dealer, capital markets, or trading workflows.

  • Understanding of financial services compliance considerations as they apply to system design — FINRA record-keeping, KYC/AML data handling, suitability documentation, supervisory controls.

  • Experience with the broader modern revenue stack, including sales intelligence (Apollo, ZoomInfo) sales and marketing outreach and automation (Customer.io, HubSpot, Marketo), BI tooling (Omni, Looker, Tableau), and ERP integration (NetSuite).

  • Experience in a marketplace or two-sided business with complex counterparty relationships.

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) designation, or active progress toward the review board.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks:

  • Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience and contribution.

  • Opportunity to participate in ownership of a rapidly growing company through our employee stock option plan.

  • Comprehensive 100% employer-paid health and dental premiums, a health and personal spending account.

  • If you are based in Vancouver, enjoy a dedicated desk in our Vancouver, BC HQ, in the heart of downtown, with a fridge stocked with healthy snacks and drinks, an onsite gym, and a gorgeous rooftop amenity.

  • Enjoy a $20-per-day commuter benefit for every day you work in our Vancouver HQ.

  • An engaging social calendar, including bi-weekly catered lunches, bi-weekly “Friday bar,” team workouts, annual summer party, and holiday party, two “onsite” all-team retreats each year, semi-annual team-building events, and Hiive Women’s Network events.

  • Significant opportunities for growth into team leadership and management roles.

  • Entrepreneurial culture and a small and dynamic team.

  • Sponsorship, immigration, and relocation for exceptional candidates.

Hiive is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace where all individuals have an opportunity to succeed.
