POSITION DETAILS

As Administrator, Personal Insurance, you will supports the day-to-day administrative operations of the Personal Insurance division.

Our Burnaby Still Creek head office location is centrally located near Brentwood Town Centre and Gilmore station in the Willingdon Business Park. This location is skytrain accessible with many shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby.

Responsibilities:

  • Updating, invoicing, performing quality reviews and generating letters using the Broker Management System (EPIC)
  • Preparing refund requests as required
  • Scanning & attaching documentation in Broker Management System
  • Coordinate and handle daily incoming mail (hardcopy and electronic)
  • Processing outgoing mail
  • Closing of ICBC transactions and procedures
  • Review documents for Quality Assurance protocols
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining ICBC inventory, back-end inventory
  • Process and package outgoing mail
  • Ensure the organization of outstanding documents and storage are in compliance and completed.
  • Support and/or collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Skills, Characteristics & Qualifications

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in an office administrative position is an asset
  • Strong PC skills i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point and MS Outlook
  • Excellent time management and proven ability to effectively prioritize work flow
  • Self-starter and proactive team player
  • Superior organization
  • Extremely detailed oriented
  • Ability to take direction from multiple stakeholders
  • Level 1 General Insurance License is an asset

The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 to $43,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
