Our administrative offices are based at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park in North Vancouver.
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Part-Time Accounting Assistant plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Finance team. This position is ideal for a student currently pursuing a degree in accounting who is looking to gain practical experience in a professional environment. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of accounting, administrative, and clerical tasks while developing valuable skills and knowledge within a dynamic and collaborative workplace.
Responsibilities- Organize, file, and maintain financial documents and records
- Sort and process incoming invoices, receipts, and correspondence
- Perform data entry and basic spreadsheet tasks in Microsoft Excel
- Assist with document scanning, copying, and archiving
- Support the accounting team with general administrative duties as needed
- Help prepare documents for audits or month-end processes
- Currently enrolled in an accounting, finance, or related degree program
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, simple formulas)
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Prior office or administrative experience is a plus but not required
- Hours: 2–3 days per week (approximately 12–20 hours), with flexibility around class schedules
