As Vice President, Marketing and Communications, you will drive the organization’s growth by developing and executing a marketing strategy that strengthens our brand, deepens client engagement, and generates measurable business results.
You will lead a high-performing, cross-functional marketing team and collaborate closely with the Executive team to shape and deliver strategies that support our ambitious growth objectives. You bring deep experience in the wealth management industry, enabling you to translate complex business goals into effective marketing programs that position the firm for continued success.
Core Responsibilities:Marketing Strategy and Growth
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the organization’s growth objectives and business priorities.
- Partner with executives and business leaders to identify opportunities for market expansion, client acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure marketing investments deliver measurable ROI.
- Use data, analytics, and performance insights to evaluate effectiveness, anticipate trends, and adapt strategy in real time.
- Build strong relationships with the Executive team and Board of Directors, ensuring marketing initiatives align with corporate direction and governance expectations.
Brand, Communications and Digital Engagement
- Champion the firm’s brand, ensuring consistent messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all channels and audiences.
- Oversee digital marketing, public relations, events, and sponsorship strategies to enhance visibility, engagement, and conversion.
- Strengthen client and prospect relationships through data-driven campaigns, targeted content, and marketing/sales alignment.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics across digital platforms to optimize reach, lead generation, and client experience.
- Represent the firm by reinforcing brand leadership through thought leadership, media engagement, and industry presence.
Leadership and Organizational Impact
- Inspire, develop, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence.
- Clearly define priorities and empower team members to deliver results in their areas of expertise.
- Build future capability and succession readiness through proactive workforce planning and professional development.
- Promote collaboration across departments, ensuring marketing is a strategic partner to all parts of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally within financial services or wealth management.
- Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive measurable business results.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong digital marketing expertise, including SEO, analytics, and campaign optimization.
- Minimum 7 years of people leadership experience with experience leading a marketing team in a wealth or asset management organization
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern marketing tools and platforms.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for any employer.
This position comes with a base salary range of $220,000 - $260,000 plus a competitive performance bonus, RRSP contribution and participation in our profit-sharing program. Base salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
