Copy.ai is a fully remote company. All employees must be able to work 9am-5pm in their timezone, Pacific to Eastern.


As our Talent Acquisition (TA) Team's only Technical Sourcer, you will play a pivotal role in thoughtfully and sustainability growing the Copy.ai team. Collaborating directly with the Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager, you will develop high-quality and diverse candidate pipelines for our mission-critical roles so that we can hire world-class talent. Additionally, you will help shape the role so there is plenty of room for impact and growth. We are looking for a Sourcer who has a calculated, technical, and proven-successful approach to sourcing technical software engineers/developers. You are a people-person and love developing and nurturing relationships with everyone including hiring managers, the entire Copy.ai Team, and prospective candidates and new-hires. You hone the gift of excellent verbal and written communication and are a tenacious and fearless Sourcer that can reach out and engage world-class technical talent to come join us at Copy.ai. Lastly, have passionate and fiery energy that is contagious that can captivate any individual or group to want to help Copy.ai continue to build out in the copywriting AI space.

What you'll do:

  • Fill all of our technical role pipelines with world-class and diverse talent to help reach our hiring goals and grow our team thoughtfully
  • Collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition (TA) Manager to prioritize the most mission-critical technical roles to source for
  • Establish strong relationships with the hiring managers in Engineering, Product, Machine Learning, and Analytics
  • Host role in-take/kick-off meetings with hiring managers and carefully understand what they are looking for in an ideal candidate, and ask specific questions to better tailor the search
  • Utilize effective sourcing platforms to engage with high-quality technical candidates to start their interview journey with us
  • Craft thoughtful and pinpointed written messages and communication to candidates, and engage them in their 1st call in the recruiting process with us.
  • Share the story, value, and team-culture of Copy.ai to captivate potential new hires to come build with us.

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience sourcing candidates for technical roles in Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Analytics
  • You have successfully sourced new hires in technical roles
  • You are a relationship-driven person and are a natural at nurturing relationships with hiring managers, the entire team, and candidates
  • You have sourced using LinkedIn Recruiter and AngelList Sourcing
  • You are data-driven, metrics-driven, and results-driven, and can share sourcing metrics to the greater TA Team and Leadership
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay Area based
  • Bonus: Experience in DEI; You know and have used job boards and other DEI resources that specialize in engaging underrepresented communities in tech
  • Bonus: Experience with Lever ATS
  • Bonus: Experience in sourcing/recruiting for an AI, ML, or NLP startup.
