First, what we’re actually doing

Suger helps revenue teams sell more effectively by simplifying the workflows required to buy and sell through cloud marketplaces. We make it easier for our customers to transact, manage, and grow deals across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba, Oracle and Snowflake, creating a smoother buying experience for their customers. We’ve grown quickly by becoming the end-to-end orchestration system for the fastest growing sales channel (B2B Cloud Marketplaces) leveraging AI and integrations with core systems. Today, we work with over 300 B2B customers, ranging from large enterprises like Snowflake and Intel to fast-growing startups like Glean and Vanta.

Why This Role Exists

We’re growing quickly, and hiring is accelerating across all functions, including our technical teams in APAC and Canada.

This role exists because building great teams requires more than managing inbound applications. This is ideal for someone who thrives in startup environments, loves hunting for talent, and gets energized by convincing great candidates to take a chance on something ambitious. You'll work directly with founders and hiring managers to build teams across our technical functions.
We're not looking for someone who simply manages inbound applications. We need someone who can identify talent before they're looking, build relationships, and turn passive candidates into excited future teammates.

This role will work on a hybrid model with 4 days per week in our Vancouver office at 321 Water St.

In this role, you will

  • Own end-to-end recruiting for technical roles across APAC and Canada, from sourcing through offer and close
  • Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and build effective recruiting strategies
  • Source and engage high-quality technical talent across a range of technical functions
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and recruiting tools
  • Conduct recruiter screens and assess candidates against role requirements, technical experience, and team fit
  • Manage candidates through the interview process, ensuring a strong and consistent candidate experience
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and interview teams to continuously improve interview processes and hiring decisions

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience across Canada and APAC, managing the full recruitment process for technical roles such as engineering, QA, product, and more
  • Experience recruiting and hiring contract talent across APAC, including navigating regional hiring practices and talent markets
  • Proven ability to partner closely with hiring managers and build effective recruiting strategies
  • Strong sourcing skills and experience building high-quality candidate pipelines through proactive outreach and networking
  • Excellent candidate assessment and communication skills, with a strong focus on candidate experience
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and managing multiple searches at once
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to operate independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams

Why join us

  • Our salary range: CAD $100,000 - 120,000/year, depending on experience
  • Monthly office stipends for lunch and commute-related benefits
  • Full healthcare benefits - extended health care, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • High ownership and visibility across the company
  • Work closely with experienced startup operators and leadership
  • Top-notch team - You'll work with other top-tier talent, who have built large-scale enterprise SaaS products at top companies like Google, Meta, Microsoft, Salesforce, Confluent, Intuit, and more
