The Match Group Core Platform team is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technical programs that improve execution, scalability, and delivery across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Product, this role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders across the Match Group portfolio to drive alignment, manage dependencies and risks, support informed tradeoff decisions, and deliver high-impact platform initiatives with rigor and clarity.
How you’ll make an impact:
Lead complex, cross-functional technical programs across the Core Platform organization, from intake and scoping through launch and post-release follow-up.
Own a portfolio or domain of initiatives, ensuring priorities, dependencies, timelines, and risks are visible and actively managed across multiple teams.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Trust & Safety, Operations, and Brand stakeholders to align on goals, sequencing, tradeoffs, and execution plans.
Drive program planning rituals and operating mechanisms, including roadmap reviews, dependency management, risk reviews, and retrospectives.
Anticipate delivery risks early, diagnose root causes of blockers, and drive resolution through clear action plans and escalations when needed.
Translate technical and delivery complexity into concise, executive-ready updates that support decision-making and maintain stakeholder alignment.
Use business context, user impact, and team capacity to inform prioritization and recommend tradeoff decisions.
Identify and implement improvements to delivery processes, planning systems, and cross-team ways of working to increase predictability and efficiency.
Mentor teammates and help raise the bar for project management discipline, communication, and execution across the organization.
