The Team Lead, Corporate Systems is responsible for the administration, support, and strategic direction of ServiceNow and other corporate applications. This role ensures that corporate systems align with business needs while driving efficiency, automation, and governance. The Team Lead collaborates with IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, oversee system enhancements, integrations, and operational support, and ensure that systems meet business and compliance requirements.
In addition to managing corporate applications, the Team Lead leads a team of analysts, administrators, and developers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and continuous growth. They are responsible for overseeing day-to-day relationships with key third-party software vendors and support partners, ensuring vendor performance meets business expectations, resolving escalations, and driving service improvements. The role also involves sourcing and allocating appropriately skilled resources to support both operational needs and the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership
- Collaborate with decision-makers, system owners, and end users across all corporate levels to gather requirements, assess feasibility, and create business cases that support financial and operational goals.
- Act as a liaison between IT, business units, and stakeholders to understand business goals and define IT strategies and priorities for system enhancements and projects.
- Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of corporate systems, making recommendations for improvements, optimizations, or further leveraging of these platforms.
- Foster a customer-centric culture in all team interactions, ensuring IT solutions align with business needs.
System Ownership, Governance & Operational Support
- Serve as the technical lead for ServiceNow and other corporate applications.
- Oversee system administration tasks, ensuring system integrity, security, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain procedures, documentation, and support standards to ensure requests are handled effectively.
- Ensure a continuous lifecycle approach for corporate applications, including regular upgrades, testing procedures, and performance monitoring.
- Lead proactive relationships with suppliers and vendors, managing incidents, problems, and performance issues while driving service improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with IT peers to design, develop, and support system integrations between corporate applications.
Project & Change Management
- Lead or assist with system enhancements, configuration changes, and testing, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Drive organizational change management activities, including training and communication, to support successful adoption of system changes.
- Oversee and prioritize system backlogs, working with IT leadership to align with strategic goals.
- Manage incident resolution, change management, and release processes in a structured and efficient manner.
People Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of developers, analysts, and administrators supporting corporate systems.
- Support succession planning by developing tailored growth plans for team members, focusing on both soft skills and technical skills.
- Ensure the team, including extended delivery vendors and partners, have clearly defined roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities.
- Set clear performance expectations for all team members and foster a high-performing team culture.
Vendor & License Management
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and consultants supporting corporate systems.
- Monitor licensing, costs, and contracts to optimize system usage and investment.
- Work with procurement and finance to ensure cost-effective solutions and proper vendor performance management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience managing ServiceNow or other enterprise corporate applications.
- 2+ years of experience leading a team or serving in a senior technical role.
- Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow modules (preferred).
- Experience with system integrations and automation.
- Familiarity with governance, compliance, and IT best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
