About the Role

.monks is seeking a Talent Discovery Coordinator to play an integral role in attracting, recruiting, and providing a top-notch experience for our candidates within the Talent Discovery department. 

In this position, you will be essential in refining our Talent Discovery practices, ensuring a positive candidate experience, promoting best practices, and sourcing emerging talent. Your contributions will be critical to the overall success of .monks.

Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Manage end-to-end scheduling of candidate interviews, facilitate testing, and handle communications.
  • Maintain the job description catalog and update documentation as needed.
  • Collaborate with Talent Operations on administrative projects.

Data Management:

  • Work with Talent Discovery recruiters to maintain data integrity in the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse).
  • Manage employee referrals and job postings, acting as an ambassador for the Talent Discovery team.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to refine existing recruitment processes.
  • Assist in creating offer letters and facilitate the onboarding process for new hires in collaboration with HR and IT.

Project Support:

    • Participate in ongoing and special projects as assigned by the Talent Discovery lead.
    • Assist the team with direct sourcing and shortlisting suitable candidates.

 Expected Results:

  • Proactive management of administrative tasks and projects.
  • Efficient scheduling and coordination support for the team.
  • Strong attention to detail in all areas of work.

About YouThe essentials:

  • 1-2 years of experience in Recruiting, HR, or Administrative roles; a genuine interest in recruitment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with recruiting tools (Greenhouse, LinkedIn, monday.com).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Adaptable and open to learning new recruiting strategies.

What We Offer

Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

Salary Range

$55,000$60,000 CAD
