About this role:

We are looking for a driven, proactive Recruiting Coordinator for a temporary 6 month contract to assist with all aspects of the recruitment process. 

In this role, you’ll work closely with our recruiting team and hiring managers to help scale Faire during a busy hiring period. You will be critical to an excellent candidate experience through timely communication and facilitating consistent interview itineraries. You will form solid business partnerships and frequently collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers on hiring plans. You will bring insight and ownership to initiatives that improve our processes, strengthen our talent brand, and enable us to be more data-driven decision makers. What you’ll do:

  • Work directly with candidates, recruiters, and hiring teams to schedule a high-volume of interviews in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update Greenhouse, our applicant tracking system, to ensure no candidate falls through the cracks during the interview process and data integrity is maintained
  • Provide a seamless interviewing experience by updating candidates regarding their application/interview status as needed and guiding through next steps 
  • Multi-task and effectively prioritize and work in a dynamic, high-growth environment
  • Collaborate with recruiting and hiring team members to improve and streamline processes
  • Develop strong client and stakeholder relationships (Hiring Managers, Interviewers, Recruiters, Sourcers, etc.) and maintain effective communication channels
  • Facilitate all virtual onsites using Zoom to ensure a positive candidate experience; troubleshoot any issues in real-time

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or similar administrative support role
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive
  • Exposure to applicant tracking or HR information systems
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills in addition to a sense of urgency 
  • High level of empathy and a champion of exceptional candidate experiences
  • Experience working in a fast-paced work environment with the ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time efficiently

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Greenhouse, Faire’s ATS
  • Comfort with Excel/Google Sheets


Salary Range

Canada: The starting pay for this role is $28 CAD per hour. 

This temporary position will also be eligible for benefits. Actual base pay will be determined based on permissible factors such as transferable skills, work experience, market demands, and primary work location. The base pay rate provided is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule - Faire employees will be expected to go into the office 2 days per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays, effective the week of January 13, 2025. Additionally, in-office roles will have the flexibility to work remotely up to 4 weeks per year.
