Westland Insurance Group Ltd. has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to join our growing team. This role is a hybrid position based out of our Head Office in Surrey, BC.

Expected Compensation: The expected hiring range for this role is $84,000 to $105,000 based on a 35-hour work week. Actual offered salary will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as market conditions for the role, and internal equity. 
Westland also offers a competitive annual short-term incentive program that enables employees to share in the rewards of the business and emphasizes the measures that are key to our success.

Are you a sourcing expert with a passion for building high-impact talent pipelines? Do you enjoy shaping strategy just as much as finding top-tier candidates? Westland Insurance is hiring a Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition team.
In this position, you will play a strategic role in shaping the future of talent at Westland. You’ll lead the design and execution of sourcing strategies that build high-performing, revenue-generating teams across the country. With your deep expertise in talent mapping, headhunting, passive candidate engagement, and market intelligence, you’ll be a critical partner to the business - supporting growth and unlocking top-tier talent in a competitive landscape.
This senior position will play a pivotal role in operationalizing Westland’s sourcing strategy - focused on identifying, engaging, and nurturing the very best talent across Canada.

Why we’ll love You:

• You have 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, executive search, headhunting, or agency recruitment.
• Proven success recruiting for sales or other revenue-driving roles.
• Strong market mapping, passive sourcing, and talent engagement skills.
• Experience creating and executing candidate engagement campaigns.
• Excellent communication, sales, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Proficiency with sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter), CRM systems, and ATS tools - bonus if you’ve worked with AI-powered recruiting tools.
• Familiarity with employer branding strategies as they relate to sourcing.

Once here, you'll:

• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies to engage passive sales talent for key roles
• Build and manage long-term talent pipelines aligned to strategic hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers and TA team to align on candidate profiles and sourcing priorities.
• Deliver a high-touch candidate and hiring manager experience through proactive engagement and communication.
• Provide market insights and data-driven recommendations to inform hiring decisions.
• Support employment branding initiatives in partnership with Marketing and TA colleagues.
• Tailor messaging to different candidate personas, showcasing why Westland is an employer of choice.
• Help shape and scale the sourcing function to support future workforce planning.
