We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Supply Planner to join our Inventory Management team in Langley, BC.

This temporary position is expected to last 15 months.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Supply Planning, you will be responsible for planning and maintaining inventory levels at our distribution centers and store locations. In this role, you will create replenishment orders, execute allocations and distributions, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a steady flow of inventory by placing the right products in the right locations at the right time.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working in A Series Demand Planning to establish and maintain planning rules: lead time, safety stock, network, sourcing, planning/cycle time.
  • Developing replenishment purchase orders based on established rules in BlueYonder Fulfillment.
  • Reviewing and addressing exceptions such as stock out, stock low, and excess inventory.
  • Partnering with Supply Chain Analysts to identify potential inventory obsolescence situations and work with Category Managers and suppliers to develop and execute plans to resolve issues.
  • Providing proactive visibility to our supplier community to prevent out of stocks.
  • Collaborating with Demand Planners to ensure forecasts are accurate and aligned with each banner we support.
  • Partnering with the warehouse team to ensure the distribution center capacity is considered when placing purchase orders.

You have:

  • A post-secondary education in inventory, distribution or logistics is preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in purchasing, supply chain planning, and/or inventory control; experience with finished goods is an asset.
  • Transportation knowledge is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with BlueYonder Fulfillment is an asset.

  • Very organized with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • An excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Compensation Details:

$66,292.00 - $82,865.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
