We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Supply Planner to join our Inventory Management team in Langley, BC.

This temporary position is expected to last 20 months.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Inventory Management, you will be responsible for planning and maintaining inventory levels across our distribution centers and store locations. In this role, you will create replenishment orders, execute allocations and distributions, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a steady flow of inventory by placing the right products in the right locations at the right time.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working in A Series Demand Planning to establish and maintain planning rules, including lead time, safety stock, network, sourcing, and planning/cycle time.
  • Developing replenishment purchase orders based on established rules in BlueYonder Fulfillment.
  • Reviewing and addressing exceptions, including stock-outs, stock low, and excess inventory.
  • Partnering with Supply Chain Analysts to identify potential inventory obsolescence situations and work with Category Managers and suppliers to develop and execute plans to resolve issues.
  • Providing proactive visibility to suppliers to prevent out-of-stocks.
  • Collaborating with Demand Planners to ensure forecasts are accurate and aligned with the needs of the banners we support.
  • Partnering with the warehouse team to ensure the distribution center capacity is considered when placing purchase orders.

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain planning, and/or inventory control; experience with finished goods is an asset.
  • Post-secondary education in Inventory Management, Distribution or Logistics is preferred.
  • Transportation knowledge is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with BlueYonder Fulfillment is considered an asset.

Compensation Details:

$67,618.00 - $84,522.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
