What do we need
Dotmatics is seeking a full-time Statistical Support Specialist with a strong background in statistics or a related quantitative field to support users analyzing research data within GraphPad Prism software. This role involves responding to customer data analysis inquiries, supporting users of GraphPad Prism, and investigating and reporting software bugs to ensure a high-quality user experience.
In this role you will get to:
- Respond to customer emails and support requests related to data analysis and interpretation of research data
- Provide clear, accurate guidance on statistical methods and best practices for data analysis
- Assist users with questions related to software usage, workflows, and results interpretation
- Investigate reported software issues, reproduce bugs, and document findings
- Collaborate with product development to report bugs and track resolutions
- Create or update internal documentation and customer-facing support materials as needed
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and timely communication
We are looking for people who have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a closely related field. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in statistical concepts commonly applied in medical or biological research, along with excellent written communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical ideas to non-expert audiences.
The key skills we are looking for:
- Familiarity with GraphPad Prism
- Knowledge of one or more common statistical software or programming tools (e.g., R, SAS, SPSS, JMP, Minitab, Origin, SigmaPlot)
- Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritize effectively
- Strong background in analyzing medical, clinical, or biological research data
- Previous experience providing technical or customer support
You may also have:
- Experience working on scientific or biomedical research projects
