Proof of work

The team

The Growth Operations team at Kraken values organization, process excellence and rigor. Our Mission is to increase efficiency and drive results in the execution of the overall marketing objectives via strategic planning, infrastructure, repeatable processes, best practices, budgeting and reporting.

We relentlessly drive the Growth team forward via ruthless planning & prioritization, orchestration & lethal execution. We leave no stone unturned. No questions unanswered. We take ownership and accountability for every element of our programs. As a team, we address urgency head-on and handle ambiguous situations with calm, clear & open minds. We know the way, go the way and show the way.

The opportunity
  • Support end-to-end project management for go-to-market initiatives across products and pods — ensuring smooth planning, clear communication, and efficient execution.

  • Coordinate cross-functional workflows with Design, Brand, Copy, Product, and Compliance — submitting creative briefs, tracking feedback, and keeping deliverables moving on time.

  • Manage operational and administrative processes that keep the Growth engine running — including compliance ticket submissions, contest payouts, and financial support requests

  • Build and maintain systems and documentation that enable team efficiency, including resource centers, internal dashboards, and shared planning tools.

  • Own executional excellence for content and campaign setup — such as building and updating pages in Sanity, managing assets, and maintaining marketing project trackers.

  • Ensure compliance and readiness by coordinating with legal, promotions, and risk teams to process tickets and approvals efficiently.

  • Support data tracking and reporting setup in partnership with Growth and Analytics teams, ensuring key initiatives are measurable and properly instrumented.

  • Maintain team hygiene and transparency across NDAs, contracts, invoices, and other administrative workflows.

  • Continuously optimize processes — identifying opportunities to automate, templatize, or scale recurring operational tasks across pods.

  • Jump in wherever needed — from creating dummy accounts for testing to troubleshooting blockers that slow down execution.

Skills you should HODL
  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing operations or project coordination — ideally within a digital-first, global, or fast-paced organization.

  • Deep understanding of marketing and go-to-market processes, with the ability to drive execution from planning and production through to measurement and optimization

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, maintaining clarity, accuracy, and speed under pressure.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams to keep initiatives moving smoothly.

  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable, Jira) and content management systems (e.g., Sanity or similar).

  • A structured thinker and strong communicator who can organize information clearly and keep stakeholders aligned.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through — you notice what others miss.

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, learning new systems quickly, and creating structure in dynamic environments.

  • A proactive, resourceful attitude — you’re motivated by solving problems, optimizing processes, and helping teams operate more efficiently.

  • A self-starter with exceptional initiative, who thrives in a fast-paced, distributed environment — finding creative efficiencies and keeping momentum high, no matter the time zone.

  • Demonstrated experience working with global client bases across North America, the UK, Europe, Canada, and Australia.

  • Prior experience in the crypto industry is preferred — while not required, candidates should have basic understanding of and enthusiasm for the space.

Unless a specific application deadline is stated in the job posting, applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.

Please note, applicants are permitted to redact or remove information on their resume that identifies age, date of birth, or dates of attendance at or graduation from an educational institution.

We consider qualified applicants with criminal histories for employment on our team, assessing candidates in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.

Kraken is powered by people from around the world and we celebrate all Krakenites for their diverse talents, backgrounds, contributions and unique perspectives. We hire strictly based on merit, meaning we seek out the candidates with the right abilities, knowledge, and skills considered the most suitable for the job. We encourage you to apply for roles where you don't fully meet the listed requirements, especially if you're passionate or knowledgable about crypto!

We may ask candidates to complete job-related skills or work-style assessments as part of our hiring process. These assessments are designed to evaluate competencies relevant to the role and are applied consistently across candidates for similar positions. Assessment results are considered alongside other relevant information, such as experience and interviews, and are not the sole basis for any employment decision.

As an equal opportunity employer, we don’t tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind. Whether that’s based on race, ethnicity, age, gender identity, citizenship, religion, sexual orientation, disability, pregnancy, veteran status or any other protected characteristic as outlined by federal, state or local laws.
