The future of financial services is embedded, and we're still early. For decades, small businesses ran their finances through a patchwork: a bank for payments, a lender for capital, a spreadsheet for everything else. That's ending. The next generation of financial services won't live at a bank, it'll live inside the software businesses already use to run their day. More and more, vertical SaaS platforms like Jobber won't just help small businesses operate; they'll become their financial hub.
Jobber is building for that world. We already help home service pros get paid faster, secure the capital they need to grow, and see their financial health clearly, and we've only scratched the surface. We're looking for a Senior Manager, Product Marketing (Fintech) to own the commercial story that gets us there, as part of our growing Product & Lifecycle Marketing team.
Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011, but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
The team:
At Jobber, we're not just building software, we're helping home service businesses accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and maintain healthy cash flow. Our Product Marketing Fintech team is central to this mission: enabling businesses to get paid faster, secure the capital needed for growth, and gain clarity on their financial health.
The role:
This is not a launch-execution role. Reporting to our Senior Director, Product & Lifecycle Marketing, you'll own Marketing-influenced revenue for Jobber's entire Fintech portfolio; adoption, activation, usage, and revenue across payments, financing, and capital are your numbers. It's a career-defining opportunity to lead the adoption of Fintech in one of the largest remaining B2B markets, partner with the best-of-the-best in the space, and help small businesses succeed while you do it. If you think like a business owner and want to lead a team that moves the needle on revenue, this is the role.
The Senior Manager, Product Marketing (Fintech), will:
Lead and develop the team: Coach and grow a team of Product Marketers and Lifecycle Marketers across payments, consumer financing, lending, and new products, building an inclusive, high-performing culture that values learning, accountability, and collaboration, and supporting career growth through regular coaching and feedback.
Own the Fintech GTM strategy and roadmap: Develop and own the end-to-end Fintech Marketing strategy with your team, identifying the highest-leverage opportunities, focusing the team's energy there, and translating insight into action plans that balance customer value with Jobber's revenue goals
Own the commercial number: Sit at the intersection of Marketing and Fintech GTM operations and own Marketing-influenced revenue growth for the portfolio. Champion commercial rigor and set the performance rhythm, including ownership of key Fintech KPIs
Build a culture of experimentation: Run tests across segments and metrics to identify what drives Fintech revenue, own the analytics to prove it, and partner with stakeholders to grow the winners into bigger investment bets over time
Stay relentlessly customer-first: Contribute to qualitative and quantitative research alongside Product, and hunt down the insights that sharpen positioning, messaging, and strategy
Partner deeply cross-functionally: Work with Fintech leadership, Product Management, Finance, and GTM teams to shape roadmap, pricing, and promotional opportunities, grounded in what customers need, what drives revenue, and what creates competitive differentiation in SMB Fintech
Be the Fintech Marketing SME: Represent Product & Lifecycle Marketing as the Fintech Marketing subject-matter leader across the org, collaborating with Product, Sales, Success, Risk Operations, Finance, and Analytics to deliver cohesive Fintech experiences
Operate as a player/coach: Own overall strategy while modelling the standard and rolling up your sleeves where the business needs it most
What good looks like
Net Fintech revenue driven by Marketing compounds quarter over quarter
Adoption and attach rates accelerate across payments, financing, and capital
Jobber markets Fintech as a crucial and integrated part of its offering
The team runs on commercial rigor, with every bet tied to a clear revenue impact
Positioning and messaging are sharp enough that Product, Sales, and Success all tell the same story
To be successful, you should have:
Have extensive experience in Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, or Growth Marketing and dedicated people leadership experience, with a strong track record of owning and scaling commercial outcomes, not just launch execution
Strong understanding of financial services and payments business models in high-growth SaaS environment
Best-in-class positioning and messaging, you create, educate, and influence teams on how to bring Fintech products to life
Proven ability to lead, motivate, influence, and navigate complex organizations with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and build trust quickly across functions
The ability to self-direct in ambiguous environments, you don't wait for a playbook, you build one
Highly analytical, confident making recommendations with incomplete information, with a strong bias to action over analysis paralysis
A business owner's mindset, you naturally gravitate toward "what's the revenue impact?" over "what's the campaign plan?"
A coaching mindset, you develop people by giving them ownership and holding them accountable to outcomes
AI fluency, you're comfortable using AI tools in your own workflow and marketing AI-powered products, and you have a point of view on how AI reshapes Fintech marketing
