Then Jobber might be the place for you! We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Product Marketing (Fintech) to be part of our growing Product & Lifecycle Marketing team.
Jobber exists to help people in small businesses be successful. We work with small home service businesses, like your local plumbers, painters, and landscapers, to transform the way service is delivered through technology. With Jobber they can quote, schedule, invoice, and collect payments from their customers, while providing an easy and professional customer experience. Running a small business today isn’t like it used to be—the way we consume and deliver service is changing rapidly, technology is evolving, and customers expect more. That’s why we put the power and flexibility in their hands to run their businesses how, where, and when they want!
Our culture of transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation has been recognized by Great Place to Work, Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures, and more. Jobber has also been named on the Globe and Mail’s Canada’s Top Growing Companies list, and Deloitte Canada’s Technology Fast 50™, Enterprise Fast 15, and Technology Fast 500™ lists. With an Executive team that has over thirty years of industry experience of leading the way, we’ve come a long way from our first customer in 2011—but we’ve just scratched the surface of what we want to accomplish for our customers.
The team:
At Jobber, we’re not just building software - we’re helping home services businesses accelerate revenue growth, improve profitability, and maintain a healthy cash flow. Our Fintech team is central to this mission - for example, enabling businesses to get paid faster, secure the capital needed for growth, and gain clarity on their financial health.
The future of financial services is embedded, and we’re still early in this transformation. More and more, small businesses will rely on vertical SaaS platforms like Jobber - not just to run their operations, but as their financial hub.
The role:
Reporting to our Senior Director, Product & Lifecycle Marketing, we are looking for a talented Senior Product Marketing leader to drive Jobber’s Fintech business. This presents a unique, career defining opportunity to lead the adoption of fintech in one of the largest remaining B2B markets, partner with some of the best-of-the best in the space, and to help small businesses succeed while you’re doing it. If you think like a business owner and want to lead a team that moves the needle on revenue, this is the role.
The Senior Manager, Product Marketing (Fintech), will:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Marketers and Lifecycle Marketers focused on accelerating Jobber's Fintech business — payments, financing, lending— including:
Build a high-performing, inclusive team culture that values learning, accountability, and collaboration
Support career development through regular coaching, feedback, and growth planning
Help your team navigate ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and grow their short-and long-term strategic impact
Champion commercial rigor and establish the performance rhythm for the portfolio, including ownership of key Fintech KPIs
Sit at the intersection of Marketing and Fintech GTM operations, own Marketing-influenced revenue growth for Jobber's Fintech portfolio — adoption, activation, usage, and revenue growth across payments, financing, and capital, and new financial services, are your numbers
Develop and own the end-to-end Fintech Marketing strategy and associated roadmap with your team—identifying the highest-leverage opportunities, focusing the team's energy there, and translating insights into action plans that balance customer value with Jobber's revenue goals
Operate as a player/coach, owning overall strategy while modeling the standard and rolling up your sleeves where the business needs it most
Build a culture of marketing experimentation — actively run tests across segments and metrics to identify what drives Fintech revenue, own the analytics to prove it, be opinionated about evolving the systems needed to scale, and partner with key stakeholders to grow the winners into bigger investment bets over time
Stay relentlessly customer-first — contribute to qualitative and quantitative research alongside Product, and be ruthless about hunting down the insights that sharpen positioning, messaging, and the Fintech Marketing strategy
Partner deeply with Fintech leadership, Product Management, Monetization, and Finance teams to identify and recommend product roadmap, pricing, and promotional opportunities — grounded in research and commercial signal: what customers need, what drives revenue, and what creates competitive differentiation in SMB Fintech
Represent Product & Lifecycle Marketing as the Fintech Marketing subject-matter leader across the organization, collaborating closely with the Fintech leadership, Product, Sales, Success, Risk Operations, Finance, and Analytics to deliver cohesive Fintech experiences.
To be successful, you should have:
Have extensive experience in Product Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, or Growth Marketing and dedicated people leadership experience — with a strong track record of owning and scaling commercial outcomes — not just launch execution
Strong understanding of financial services and payments business models in high-growth SaaS environment is highly desirable
Be best-in-class at positioning and messaging — creating, educating, and influencing teams on how to bring Fintech products to life
Passionate about creating world-class customer experiences that have a tangible business impact
Have proven ability to lead, motivate, influence, and navigate complex organizations with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and build trust quickly across functions
Be able to self-direct in ambiguous environments—you don't wait for a playbook, you build one
Be highly analytical, confident making recommendations with incomplete information, and strong bias to action over analysis paralysis
Think like a business owner, not just a marketer— you naturally gravitate toward "what's the revenue impact?" over "what's the campaign plan?"
Bring a coaching mindset—you develop people by giving them ownership and holding them accountable to outcomes
Have a high standard of excellence and contagious pride for the work your team brings to market
