We’re seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Elastic IT PMO Team, a group dedicated to supporting critical business operations and driving innovation across our SaaS platforms. You’ll lead high-impact initiatives, including centralizing our business on a unified customer portal with an integrated billing engine, while enabling new capabilities within the Quote to Cash systems roadmap—from opportunity creation to order fulfillment, invoicing, and payment collection.
You will thrive in ambiguity, balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, and collaborate across Cloud (Platform Billing) Engineering, Finance Operations, Corporate Functions, Sales and IT to ensure smooth, efficient, and scalable processes that support Elastic’s growth and customer success.
What you will be doing:- Lead complex, high-visibility programs and projects supporting Finance and Business Systems partners.
- Define and manage execution plans, including risk mitigation, communications, and governance.
- Coordinate across agile teams to design, build, test, and deliver solutions.
- Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts to implement end-to-end automations.
- Drive agile delivery: manage sprints, Jira updates, and track progress via metrics.
- Facilitate technical and business review sessions, translating complex functionality into clear business context.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, driving timely resolution and escalation.
- Support program governance through executive-level communications and stakeholder alignment.
- 5–8 years as a program, project, or product manager, with at least 6 years leading SaaS applications or software development projects.
- 5+ years leading multiple large-scale enterprise projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proven project management skills and knowledge of software deployment methodologies and lifecycle.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems, adapt to priorities, and drive results.
- Collaborative, proactive mindset—be great and lift those around you.
- Project Management certifications (PMP, CSM).
- Experience with Finance Operations, CRM, ERP, and integration systems.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, Netsuite, Marketo, and other cloud platforms.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.
These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.
