Sully.ai is hiring our first Senior Technical Project Manager, a key addition to our Engineering organization. You’ll partner directly with our Head of Engineering and Co-Founder/CEO to architect and execute the processes, governance, and tools that enable our AI-driven clinical Agents platform to scale. This Bay Area–based role offers the opportunity to define the playbook and build 0 to 1 on our mission to save lives.
What You’ll DoEstablish Project Governance
Design and own a cross-phase governance cadence (design → build → launch)
Lead and scale: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and weekly status reviews
Set up robust tracking for timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables
Drive Technical Execution
Translate inputs into well-scoped engineering tickets; prioritize and drive them through completion
Execute database operations, write and run automation scripts, and manage our agent suite (Scribe, Interpreter, Receptionist, Apogee)
Build 0→1 Processes
Define and document workflows—from intake to deployment—and iterate for continuous improvement
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, system integrations, and tooling under the guidance of engineering leadership
Lead Cross-Functional Alignment
Act as the primary liaison between Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure strategic alignment
Create and deliver internal and customer-facing technical roadmaps, timelines, and presentations
Mitigate Risk & Communicate Status
Identify architecture or dependency risks early; develop and execute mitigation plans
Report progress, challenges, and wins directly to our Co-Founders
Senior Experience: 6+ years managing complex technical projects—ideally you're a former Founder/Co-Founder or first TPM hire at an early stage startup previously.
Deep Technical Acumen:
Expert with SQL/NoSQL databases, scripting (Python, Bash), and system architecture
Hands-on with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence) and CI/CD frameworks
Operational Leadership:
Proven track record building processes from scratch and driving teams to deliver on aggressive timelines
Exceptional Communication:
Polished written and verbal skills; comfortable presenting to executive leadership and external partners
Skilled at forging consensus across technical and non-technical stakeholders
