Come join us and help shape a safer, simpler digital future.

As a Sr. Solutions Engineer - Sales Acceleration, you will be a key technical partner to strategic prospects and customers, guiding them through discovery, evaluation, and adoption of 1Password’s newest products. You’ll quickly understand their business goals, identify the technical levers that drive outcomes, and position 1Password’s solutions in a way that is clear, compelling, and commercially aligned.

You’ll lead technical conversations that surface real needs and turn them into solution architectures that directly support revenue opportunities. Your ability to influence decision-making, remove technical blockers, and build trust with both technical and executive stakeholders will be central to accelerating deal cycles and improving win rates.

You will also play a critical role internally. Your field insights will inform product direction and help sharpen go-to-market strategy, especially in emerging markets where clarity, speed, and strong positioning matter most. You’ll define technical success criteria, ensure alignment across stakeholders, and maintain tight coordination with Sales, Product, and Marketing so every engagement moves with purpose and delivers measurable business impact. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Acceleration, this role is remote based in the US or Canada.

What we're looking for:

  • 6+ years in customer-facing roles within B2B environments, ideally with direct involvement in technical evaluations or pre-sales support.

  • 3+ years as a Solutions Engineer or equivalent role supporting multi-product SaaS solutions in complex customer environments.

  • Proven ability to partner with Enterprise sales teams, influence stakeholders, build trust quickly, and support the progression and closing of complex deals.

  • Familiarity with SaaS, security principles, and technologies such as SCIM, Active Directory, SSO, CLI tooling, and AI-driven workflows.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, value-driven narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Confidence presenting to executives, security teams, and operational stakeholders, with strong facilitation and storytelling skills.

  • Ability to navigate evolving customer requirements with curiosity, adaptability, and a solutions-oriented mindset.

  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining quality and accuracy.

  • Collaborative team member with a willingness to mentor others and share best practices to elevate SE craft across the organization.

What you can expect:

  • Serve as the primary technical partner to the Go-to-Market team, bringing deep product expertise and strategic guidance to customer conversations.

  • Scope, design, and recommend tailored technical solutions that address both stated and unstated customer needs while aligning with business goals and decision criteria across a wide range of Enterprise accounts.

  • Strengthen sales velocity by coaching Account Executives on product capabilities, competitive positioning, and technical value, ensuring our messaging resonates with customer challenges and use cases.

  • Lead technical discovery, evaluations, demos, and education sessions that help customers understand the 1Password suite and confidently make informed decisions.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales on product readiness, customer feedback, and technical insights that support go-to-market execution and deal success.

  • Define technical success criteria and ensure alignment across internal and external stakeholders throughout the sales cycle.

Our approach to work
