About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts. In this role, you will design and implement automation frameworks, drive testing strategies, and champion quality across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish best practices, optimize testing efficiency, and contribute to architectural decisions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive test strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Develop automation frameworks for performance, security, and API testing.
  • Evaluate and recommend testing tools to optimize the QA process.
  • Lead automation initiatives to enhance test coverage and reliability.
  • Define release quality criteria and implement release quality gates.
  • Drive deployment verification strategy and analyze failures for process improvements.
  • Conduct deep root cause analysis and manage defect triage processes.
  • Perform code reviews with a focus on quality and maintainability.
  • Ensure testing practices meet financial industry regulations and compliance requirements (PCI DSS, MPoC, etc.)
  • Lead process improvement initiatives and establish quality metrics.
  • Influence product decisions by advocating for quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Perform manual testing for card tapping scenarios to ensure accurate and reliable transaction validation.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipeline integrations for automated testing.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in QA automation with at least 2 years in fintech or financial services
  • Relevant certification such as ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board), CST (Certified Software Tester), CAT (Certified Agile Tester), AWS DevOps Certification or equivalent.
  • Expert in testing frameworks with deep technical understanding of system architecture.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and containerization (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Extensive experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or equivalent.
  • Experience in chaos engineering experiments and scalability testing.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, C# or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, or similar).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar).
  • Success with AI for coding, testing, and other tasks.
  • Ability to lead release readiness reviews and balance quality with release timelines.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
