Job Description:

As a Program Manager, this person would be working closely with the Digital Design teams, Implementation, Layout and DFT teams, Mixed Signal Development teams and CAD/Flow Development teams to coordinate various tasks throughout the IP and SOC development process. This role is for a versatile candidate who would enjoy challenges of adapting to the newer cutting-edge technology nodes and also ensuring quality deliverables in established/legacy technology nodes.

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Working with multi-time-zone locations of cross-functional teams from Design, Implementation, DFT, Layout, CAD and Mixed Signal domains

  • Planning, developing and tracking tasks across IP and SOC development, CAD flow development, Vendor Tools deployment, Post-Si test ecosystem

  • Establishing and facilitating the risk management process for new projects and initiatives by working with internal stakeholders to drive objectives

  • Conduct periodic meetings to collect status and facilitate inter-team task alignment

  • Effectively presenting project status to internal/external customers and bringing the feedback back to engineering teams

  • Ensure Goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction and quality

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering

  • Prior experience in two or more of semiconductor backend functions (Synthesis, DFT, Layout, Physical Verification, Reliability, Flow Development) is a must

  • 15+ years of experience in semiconductor with at least 5+ years in managing two or more of semiconductor backend deliverables (Synthesis, DFT, Layout, Physical Verification, Reliability, Flow Development)

  • Experienced in using project management tools like JIRA or other Agile methodologies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective team player, collaborator, and a great motivator for the team

  • Ability to work in a multi-location, cross-functional team setup

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry. It consists of competitive base pay, restricted stock units, and quarterly bonus payments. Benefits of working at Microchip

The annual base salary range for this position is $107,000- $226,000.*

*Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
