As Senior IT Manager, you’ll lead our IT team and own the technology supporting Mosaic’s mission to Build A Better Home. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Finance, this hands-on leadership role is a great fit for someone who wants to shape and deliver IT strategy, but who still loves rolling up their sleeves and digging into the technical work. You'll drive everything from our multi-year IT roadmap and cybersecurity posture to the day-to-day reliability of our network, servers, and cloud systems, all while bringing out the best in your team of three. You'll also play an important role in guiding AI adoption as part of our broader technology roadmap.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Operations Strategy

  • Own and continuously assess the IT systems landscape and roadmap, including on-premises servers, network infrastructure and design, and cloud-hosted applications. Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems. Identify and address gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, own, and maintain the 1-3-5 year IT strategic roadmap in partnership with leadership.
  • Make recommendations on annual strategic priorities, delivering items on time and on budget.
  • Set priorities and execute design and maintenance of IT systems (network, servers, backups, workstations, etc.), working as needed with consultants.
  • Ensure IT business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place, tested, and improved.
  • Provide clear and concise recommendations to leadership and other stakeholders on best practices, IT policy and procedures in line with Mosaic’s strategic plan and business priorities.
  • Contribute to help shape Mosaic’s IT and AI governance framework, including data security, acceptable use and guide AI adoption across the business.
  • Deliver clear, concise communication on IT changes or issues impacting colleagues.
  • Prepare business cases, memos and analysis for new expenditures or IT projects.
  • Own and make IT budget recommendations, considering projects, hardware, and software needs.

Service Delivery

  • Establish and ensure adherence to IT policy, process, and standards to safeguard company data integrity and system security. Ensure ongoing monitoring of network, server, backups and IT system performance.
  • Continuously assess cybersecurity risks, remediate gaps, and implement security best practices. Oversee the cybersecurity training and awareness program. Monitor performance and ensure gaps are remediated.
  • Ensure colleagues are educated and supported with new software and hardware, or updates.
  • Ensure backups are tested regularly, disaster recovery and business continuity plans are current.
  • Monitor Helpdesk KPIs, performance, and service levels. Serve as escalation point for complex issues. Continuously improve Helpdesk process and procedures.
  • Oversee the hardware lifecycle of laptops, printers, and servers. Ensure efficient provisioning.

Projects & Vendor Relationships

  • Provide technical expertise and consultation to teams across Mosaic. Lead and oversee IT project delivery, including risk assessment, coordination, implementation, and application support for new software, deployment of hardware, and operationalization of new or upgraded systems.
  • Act as the main point of contact for IT vendors. Develop and manage relationships with third-party IT vendors, managed service providers, or other technology providers.
  • Oversee contracts, software renewals, and compliance with licensing.

People Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and manage the IT team, setting priorities, providing coaching, mentorship, and maintaining high performance.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain talent. Support succession planning and leadership development. Plan and allocate team resources to meet business needs.

This is a full-time in-office role with the opportunity for significant impact. If you are keen to lead a great team and passionate about translating IT strategy into tangible results, we’d love to hear from you.
