About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our team and support leaders and employees across assigned client group. As a key member of the HR team, you will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to the business, delivering HR solutions that drive performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
This role requires a strong foundation in employee relations, coupled with experience across core HR areas including talent management, organizational development, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership
Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, understanding business goals and providing HR guidance and solutions.
Support workforce planning, organizational design, and team effectiveness initiatives.
Facilitate performance management, coaching leaders through feedback, development, and performance conversations.
Help identify and develop high-potential talent in collaboration with leadership.
Employee Relations & Risk Management
Manage and advise on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, performance issues, workplace investigations, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and labor law compliance.
Provide guidance to managers to proactively address team concerns and foster a positive work environment.
Very strong experience and expertise in Canadian employment law, local practices and compliance.
HR Program Delivery
Support the delivery of key HR programs and processes (e.g., bonus planning, equity planning, salary increases, engagement surveys, talent reviews, etc.).
Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decisions and recommend improvements.
Support change management and communication efforts for organizational or process changes.
Culture & Engagement
Champion our values and help foster an inclusive and engaged work environment.
Partner with the business and HR colleagues to address engagement and retention trends.
Facilitate employee feedback mechanisms (e.g., stay interviews, exit interviews) and identify actionable insights.
Qualifications
5–8 years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting leaders in a consultative capacity.
Demonstrated ability to manage a broad range of employee relations matters with professionalism and sound judgment.
Strong understanding of employment laws and HR practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Experience navigating change and supporting organizational effectiveness.
