WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer to join our team of seasoned, passionate and talented game developers at Next Level Games.
The engineer will work closely with the Game Director, Tech Director, Designers, Gameplay Team and Gameplay Animators to implement core gameplay mechanics and engine features.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years professional video game development experience
  • Excellent C++ skills
  • Excellent linear algebra skills
  • Good grasp of game design fundamentals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Working well within team environment
  • Highly organized and self-motivated

This is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days per week at our Vancouver studio.
The hiring range for this position is $ 100,000 - $ 140,000 CAD annually and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
