Job Description
Senior Financial Analyst, Risk Management
Risk Management Specific Responsibilities:

Develop a strong understanding of operating businesses, including ad-hoc analysis over certain operational metrics
-
Prepare quarterly and annual risk presentations, covering anti-bribery and corruption, health & safety, and climate risk for Brookfield senior management and our Board

Support review of risk registers across portfolio companies during the business planning process

Support the onboarding and integration of new acquisitions into Brookfield's asset management program
-
Support the execution of Group’s portfolio governance processes, including monitoring programs such as anti-bribery and corruption, compliance with emerging regulations, and coordination of risk and compliance trainings

Support and coordinate the Group’s internal control over financial reporting compliance program
-
Strategic ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required
Sustainability Specific Responsibilities:

Lead the annual sustainability KPI collection process, including managing, analyzing, monitoring and presenting portfolio performance

Support quarterly and annual reports for public and private fund investor purposes, including annual Sustainability Reports

Frequent communication with portfolio company sustainability and finance teams, and with public and private fund finance teams to support investor relations, regulatory compliance reporting, board reporting, and sustainability initiatives

Research and communicate evolving sustainability frameworks, networks, and regulations and synthesize the information for internal and external presentations

Manage, analyze and monitor greenhouse gas emissions inventory and forecasting for Brookfield Private Equity Group
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

Qualified CPA, CA, preferably with Big 4 experience and a proven track record of high performance

Minimum of three years of progressive work experience in related functions

Demonstrated leadership ability and is a team player, willing to always support the team

Strong communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability; willingness to “dive into the details”

Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment

Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, including the ability to prepare high quality presentations
