We partner closely with Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales teams to generate high-quality leads and demonstrate clear marketing contribution to revenue. Job Summary:

Semtech Corporation is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to execute and optimize multi-channel digital marketing programs that drive engagement, lead generation, and brand awareness. This individual contributor role focuses on tactical execution across paid media, organic social, email marketing, and web channels, while continuously analyzing performance to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Responsibilities:

  • Digital Channel Execution & Optimization (50%)
    • Manage day-to-day campaign setup, optimization, and performance monitoring across all digital platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn, programmatic display, paid social)
    • Execute technical campaign setup including audience configuration, bidding strategies, ad placement, and targeting parameters
    • Implement ongoing campaign optimizations based on performance data and testing results
    • Conduct A/B and multivariate testing across ads, landing pages, email, and conversion paths
    • Implement email marketing campaigns including segmentation, personalization, and automation workflows in HubSpot
    • Build and optimize email nurture programs, drip campaigns, and behavioral triggers
    • Optimize website conversion paths, landing pages, and user experience based on analytics and testing (working with agency and web team)
    • Ensure campaign quality, brand consistency, and proper tracking across all digital executions
    • Troubleshoot campaign delivery issues and technical problems in real-time
  • Performance Analytics & Optimization (30%)
    • Conduct deep-dive analysis of campaign performance across all digital channels using Google Analytics, ad platform analytics, and HubSpot
    • Monitor real-time campaign performance and make tactical adjustments to improve results
    • Track and optimize key metrics: CTR, conversion rates, cost per lead, quality scores, engagement rates
    • Identify underperforming campaigns, ads, or audience segments and implement optimizations
    • Conduct ongoing testing programs to improve campaign efficiency and effectiveness
    • Create performance dashboards and reports for demand generation manager and leadership
    • Provide optimization recommendations based on data analysis and platform best practices
    • Analyze user behavior, conversion paths, and funnel drop-off points to identify improvement opportunities
  • Technical Implementation & Operations (15%)
    • Implement tracking codes, UTM parameters, and conversion pixels for campaign measurement
    • Manage marketing technology integrations between digital platforms and marketing automation
    • Configure and maintain lead routing rules, assignment logic, and lifecycle stage progressions
    • Update lead scoring models based on campaign performance and sales feedback
    • Monitor and maintain data quality, CRM hygiene, and database segmentation
    • Troubleshoot technical issues with campaigns, tracking, integrations, or automation workflows
    • Maintain campaign documentation, asset libraries, and process documentation
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) across digital programs
    • Manage platform configurations and settings across marketing technology stack
  • Collaboration & Execution Support (10%)
    • Partner with demand generation manager on campaign execution, performance analysis, and optimization recommendations
    • Support agency partnerships by providing performance data, technical requirements, and optimization feedback
    • Collaborate with content and product marketing teams on landing page optimization and conversion improvements
    • Coordinate with marketing operations on lead routing, scoring updates, and technical integrations
    • Provide campaign performance insights to sales development team to improve lead follow-up
    • Work with web team and agencies on landing page development, testing, and optimization
    • Stay current on digital marketing platform updates, best practices, and optimization techniques

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 5-7 years of B2B digital marketing experience with focus on execution and optimization
  • Proven track record of managing paid media campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred) and CRM systems (Salesforce)
  • Strong background in email marketing, landing page optimization, and conversion rate optimization
  • Demonstrated experience with marketing operations including lead management, scoring, routing, and data quality
  • Experience configuring and maintaining marketing technology integrations and workflows
  • Demonstrated success in improving digital campaign performance and ROI
  • Experience working with agencies and managing vendor relationships
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Digital marketing certifications strongly preferred (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, HubSpot, LinkedIn Marketing)
  • Continuous professional development in digital marketing, analytics, or related areas
  • Excellent English language communication skills, both written and verbal

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is CAD $68,000-97,000.  There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base salary, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education and experience, as well as job location and the value of other elements of an employee’s total compensation package.
