Lead regular creative reviews and establish clear quality benchmarks that the team can consistently work toward.
Foster a culture of creative ownership and continuous improvement — helping team members develop confidence in their decisions and execution.
Support the Head of Creative Services in team planning, performance development conversations, and identifying skill gaps or growth opportunities within the team.
Serve as the team's day-to-day point of contact for creative direction, priorities, and production decisions.

Proactively identify challenges and opportunities in the creative services landscape.
Align creative services initiatives with overall business goals.
Contribute to the development of key company objectives and strategies.
Act as a liaison between the Creative Services team and senior stakeholders, including but not limited to C-suite, Executive Producers, Game Directors etc.
Regularly communicate team challenges, schedules, roadblocks, and achievements to stakeholders to achieve operational alignment.
Solicit constructive feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve creative services and outputs.
Maintain a clear and current understanding of all active creative projects — tracking status, flagging risks, and keeping marketing leadership informed on progress and blockers in close alignment with Lead of Creative Operations
Support the coordination of assignments across artists, editors, motion designers, and external collaborators, ensuring briefs are clear and timelines are realistic.
Contribute to the team's project management frameworks and proactively seek to increase project management efficiency with AI utilization.
Assist in the oversight of external resources — including freelancers, contractors, and agencies — helping ensure output quality meets internal standards.
Uphold brand and creative quality standards across deliverables, supporting IP approval workflows with external partners where applicable.
Hold final accountability for the delivery of all Creative Services output - on time, on budget, and at the required creative standard, while delegating day-to-day project management, scheduling, and resource allocation to the Lead of Creative Operations.
Meet with the Lead of Creative Operations on a regular governance cadence to review team-wide allocation, project health, and risks.
Act as the escalation and decision point for issues that cannot be resolved at the project level, arbitrating conflicting priorities across internal clients and making trade-off calls on scope, timeline, budget, or resourcing.
Own final approval authority on creative quality, brand consistency, and IP compliance across all deliverables, including work produced by freelancers, contractors, and agencies; own IP approval workflows with external partners and licensors at the leadership level.
Own the resourcing model and budget for Creative Services, determining the in-house versus external mix, approving vendor and agency partnerships sourced by the Lead of Creative Operations, and ensuring team capacity is matched to the marketing roadmap.
Ensure Marketing leadership has an accurate, current view of creative capacity, delivery status, and risk, using the reporting the Lead of Creative Operations maintains as the single source of truth.
Identify opportunities to introduce AI-enabled pipelines and tools that meaningfully increase the team's creative output capacity and efficiency.
Research, evaluate, and integrate generative AI tools into production workflows — establishing usage guidelines and best practices for the team.
Design and maintain automation workflows and systems that reduce repetitive production tasks and free up creative bandwidth.
Coach and upskill team members in AI-assisted workflows, enabling them to work faster and at a higher volume without sacrificing quality.
Set the vision and direction for AI-enabled creative production, defining where AI should expand the team's output capacity, speed, and range, and what success looks like in measurable terms.
Charter the creative direction as the team-wide owner of AI workflow adoption within creative production. Set expectations and targets, review progress, remove organizational blockers, and secure the budget, tooling, and legal approvals required for the pipelines they pursue.
Establish the governance framework for AI use, including usage policy, IP and licensing risk, brand safety, and disclosure obligations to partners and licensors. Serve as the final decision maker of what is acceptable to ship.
Hold the creative team accountable for embedding adopted AI workflows into project management practice and for keeping the wider team aligned on how those workflows are applied across projects.
Sponsor the team's AI capability build-out. Ensure coaching and upskilling plan is properly resourced, and make AI fluency an explicit part of hiring, onboarding, and performance expectations.
Actively contribute as a producing creative — delivering high-quality static, motion, video, and CG assets using both AI-assisted and traditional production tools.
Model the quality bar expected of the team through consistent, high-caliber personal output alongside leadership responsibilities.
