Job Description:
Looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing and dynamic Finance Business Partner team!
The focus of the role is to partner with Microchip’s Business Units and functional teams and provide finance support for decision-making processes. We are looking for a candidate who is interested in building and optimizing financial models and developing common processes across the company. The role is also expected to develop a relationship with the business and facilitate effective interactions between Business Units and Finance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of Financial Analyst:
- Provide analytical support to achieve Company and Business Unit short-term and long-term financial goals
- Build advanced financial models and reporting templates to assist business decisions
- Interpret accounting standards and policies to the Business Units
- Partner closely with Accounting team to achieve accurate accounting results and apply proper accounting treatment
- Improve management reporting and analytics in areas including (but not limited to): (i) business KPI performance; (ii) synergistic opportunities; and (iii) make vs. buy analyses
- Identify opportunities to drive consistency and best practice across the Company
- Assist Senior Manager, Finance in driving and maintaining a culture of continuous improvements through innovation and challenging the status quo
Requirements/Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A or Finance/Accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Accounting designation or a Master Degree is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation skills and writing abilities
- Able to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Expert proficiency with Excel
- Ability to analyze complex business situations, summarize key issues and make practical value-added recommendations within project scope
- Ability to perform concurrent tasks / projects, change priorities and reallocate resources as applicable
- Capable of working independently and autonomously while at the same time contributes effectively as a member of the finance business partner team; considers themselves a major contributor in the achievement of operational and financial goals

The annual base salary range for this position is 53,000 - 90,000.**Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
